Epona in Celtic lore is the Goddess of horses

She was also popular amongst the Roman Cavalry, many of whom were Celts. This whole album (Evocation II) is essentially prayers to Gaulish Gods and Goddesses. IT was Fabies first with the band, and some metal heads don't like it because its Folk Rock not Folk Metal. They're idiots ;)

Oh, wonderful ! I'll have to listen to more. New to me. I knew Epona was the horse goddess. Well done. Do try Visions of Atlantis "Master the Hurricane 🌀 " video. Living in Florida, you know I can't miss that. Another symphonic metal band that goes full pirate ☠️ with both a male and female singer.

The Clip seems about the clash of the Romans and united germanian Tribes at the Teuteburger Forrest, the Roman Empire lost a full Legion there.

Celtic shields, a Celtic goddess and a song reminiscent of French folklore: we are in Gaul, now France.

@@marcbaur677 He managed to unite all of Gaul and had a good chance of winning. His misfortune was that his opponent's name was Julius Caesar and he had time to prepare.
