    I self-study trumpet and I bought an online course, books and DVD and no one of them told me that I CAN change pitch by using my tongue instead of putting more presser on my lips! Looks like I not only wasted two weeks, but also acquired bad habit.
    Can you, please, publish more detailed explanation about tongue position and using?
    P.S. When I am trying to use tongue, I feel pretty strong and not very pleasant tickles in it. I, probably, am doing something wrong. (

      same here bro.Do you got any solution for this.Do we have to use our tounge while speaking or it will move automatically while speaking and same goes with the lips also?

    I'm a 16 years old school band euphonium player. I'm unsatisfied with my sound and air capacity. I know it is ambitious. I've watched your videos but most of them are hard to digest for me... Sorry :p but any tips for young beginners?

    • @Matonizz
      @Matonizz  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can only get so much better overnight. You need to practice taking larger breaths with less effort. Practice how to feel more comfortable doing that to the point where it's a second nature. The most important thing is to spend some time on basics (air control, embouchure, posture, tongue, fingers) every day. Pick simple exercises where you could focus on these things separately without overloading your brain. As it becomes more natural, move on to more complex stuff. Track your progress! I know these are not very specific tips but it's hard for me to tell exactly what's up without me hearing you play. Hopefully this helps buddy. A

    Matonizz...you could do well by eliminating about half of your introduction. Just say hello and skip all of the sound and graphics.

      I guess so maybe, just want it to look more professional. Will keep that in mind for future. Thanks for watching and feedback buddy!
