One thing I always liked about these games is for the most part all the characters looked like normal people. Like, no one is particularly ‘sexy’ in max Payne 1 & 2 and it makes it feel more grounded and realistic (all things considered)

I cannot hear the name Puncinello without thinking of Punch from those horrifying Punch and Judy puppets. I don't know why, but they have been used in two different horror novels (sort of) that I've read and I am fucked up about those stupid puppets now

I still strongly this game could be translated into a movie or tv series. The tv series would give more scope to unpack more narrative. The underground subways, atmospheric music, the mafia, Russians, inner circle and many other important things were utterly failed and destroyed by the movie. It would need John Wick (exaggerated but artistic) take on it to best render one of the best noir stories and noir games ever made or will be made.
Can I offer a piece of constructive criticism? I think the comic style panels hold a lot of critical information, I try to read them as you’re speaking but you cut off and switch away too quickly. I think I read fairly quickly but not any faster than average, so I think if you could hold the frame for 1-3 seconds longer it would be really helpful in this, and it wouldn’t be so long that it would mess up your flow too much hopefully? Maybe it’s worth experimenting on to figure out a more appropriate duration of time to show those panels. Other than that these are great and keep up the work!
