    Hi there! I loved this.
I was looking some videos on the Korg Nanokontrol2 and I was wondering if it replaces something like the boss rc 505? Does it work if I want to do something like you do, live looping? Recording, muting, etc?

Hi, effectively I’m using the nanokontrol as a remote control for Cubase, so I can mute, solo and arm record for tracks in Cubase (and also control volume of said tracks with the faders). Makes things easier than clicking with the mouse 🙂. Doesn’t really replace a dedicated loop station as you have to set everything up in advance e.g. what tracks/instruments you’re going to use etc. But it does effectively allow you to ‘live loop’ using Cubase to build up tracks. There’s another vid on my channel that goes into a little more detail on how to set it all up in Cubase and then as I say the nanokontrol allows for easy hands on operation of selecting, muting, soloing tracks etc.

@@splootyvision I really appreciate your detailed answer.
I'll get the nanokontrol and test it out, since its way cheaper than sometihng like the boss rc 505.
Thanks a lot! Greetings from Argentina
