Shout outs to the Benchmade Infidel! I just ordered a Mini Infidel a few days ago. Can't wait to finally get it! It's my first "high end" OTF knife. Let's hope its worth the money! I've never spent more than $100 on a knife, so $300+ is a big step up.
Try a thin vinyl magnet over one of the charging pads, and see if the watch will charge. The one that comes with it is magnetic. Maybe it needs to detect a magnet before it will charge.
I personally would've put the coil on the back if possible. Most people put their devices on their backs, like the phone, or the watch, so to me it would make sense to put it on its back. I also would try to find one with the smallest coils, if the coils are bent and/or if the copper wires are crossing it affects the efficiency, but anyway nice video, and it is a great alternative to buying the new ones.
