great review i ended purchasing the qi10. Matt have you seen that new putter, that sergio garcia used. its the first ever full carbon putter. " THE MAKER" by golfyr. BUILT IN switzerland. would love to see your review on it.
For me the prices have gone beyond the level I am willing to pay and not just Taylormade. I will wait a couple of years and purchase a new driver when they are no longer the newest model. I have not hit the Qi10 yet but watching videos the biggest difference appears to be in looks. Being an engineer by trade I am more interested in fit, form and function over cosmetics. Nice video. I am an older golfer who needs the forgivness and club head speed, oddly enough when reviewers talk they always seem to say the bigger head instills confidence, personally I see the larger head as more bulky, slower, and to large and a smaller head easier to control, faster through the swing, and I don't become so complacent. I guess in this case I am the odd ball. 😎😎
What is funny is that most of the time they say bigger, it’s the exact same 460cc and only looks bigger because of the shaping. If you are older then you remember the old models like the first Taylormade Burner’s Or Callaway drivers that today would look tiny to people. Did we used to drive the ball like crap back in the 90’s? No! Did we get more punished on misfits? Yeah, but we didn’t try to swing 150mph. I know I can hit just as good drives with a 25 year old Callaway Big Bertha as I can with any of these new drivers. But maybe my bad swings won’t end up as bad these days.
Hey Matt, did you try lofting down the max driver to reduce the spin? I’ve seen other testers do that and get their normal distance while still getting max forgiveness.
So TaylorMade say the new face secures better to the head, an acknowledgment of a design fault in the Stealth? Seems like in light of all the faces falling off the Stealth. MOI at 10,000 in the max, Stealth max was 8500, and that’s the MOI of the LS version in the Qi10. All of this renders the Stealth well and truly redundant, resale value? Suspect it will drop like a stone and all the residual stock in retailers, good luck with that. The obsession with annual release rather than bi annual, means redesign for redesigns sake, this might be the first real improvement since the SIM
i can pick up a brand new Qi10 Max Driver for 480 ( Canadian ) 342 ( US ) I am thinking thats a great deal No ? or do i get the PXG Gen 6 Driver for 345 ( Canadian ) 246 ( US ) which one do you think is the better driver ? Both are very good deals Open to anyone cheers from Canada

That’s not correct. I’ve been playing golf for 40 years. My handicap is between 5 and 8 depending on time of year on the WHS. Ive just been fitted for the QI. Was playing a SIM 2 max. The QI gave me vastly improved numbers and the proper TM fitting experience enabled the club to be built around my delivery. Whilst the golfer is the biggest variable, suggesting this is BS is borne from not appreciating and understanding what the technology offers if you’ve been fit correctly.

They are a beautiful club. Always used Callaway but have my Taylormade fitting booked.

G400 Max. Buy it! Wont regret it
The max looks huge behind the ball and I found it confidence inspiring. Picked up 3 mph additional ball speed and 10 yards carry .

Qi10 max is a fail, same 3000 + rpm spin for everyone testing it. BRNR would go longer and fine more fairways.
It does spin quite high but it can be adjusted I had it spinning at around 3,000 but with a bit of tweaking it dropped to 2,000
