    Great Video, i have a 15 wrx (I'm 2nd owner) car is all stock currently, mechanics say I need to replace clutch apparently, I have a lot of stop and go city traffic, was wondering how much harder the ACT clutch is pushing in than the stock clutch? I don't know if I should just replace with another stock clutch, or install the ACT Clutch. Thanks for your time.

      It’s more stiff but I’ve driven a stock WRX and its clutch is very light compared to the ACT. At first it will be drastic but after a week or so you will love it

      Thanks for replying, I'm going to call ACT and see which one they recommend. A Subaru mechanic told me not to go with their lightweight flywheel, go stock weight, what are your thoughts? Thanks again for your response!

    Now that your clutch is all worked in. Are you running into problems with the clutch going into gear at a stopped position, when the car is warm?

    Install is just as important as the clutch. Even something thing as not putting lube where needed can cause stuff like that. (Lube makes it smooth). Make sure the person doing it knows what they are doing or go to a a professional.

    I have a act throw out bearing on my 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse gst with the 6 puck clutch and lightweight flywheel from Act and no noises and great clutch performance. I bet you didn’t grease the tips on the fork.

    Is the ACT TOB same as the factory one?

    • @PrimeDaily
      @PrimeDaily  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They told me it is the same size and dimensions but it is not an OEM part. ACT makes their own TOB

      @IgoByaGo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PrimeDaily When I put mine in, I replaced with the newer OEM TOB and new clips. I did the same upgrade with prolite flywheel. It rattles A LOT more than yours. I can hear it a bit on yours, but nowhere near how the prolite sounds. Yours sounds great. I am boosted, so yes, it is good for boost. Also, with the prolite, you get the up and down revs a lot more with the AC on.
