They said they were more focused on the "Ghost" part of Ghost of Tsushima so this will be a new character and story, I'm sure Jin will be mentioned in the game at some point
Jin will probably be referred to as the OG of "Ghosts". She might be one of the "Ghosts" that are everywhere in ancient Japan. Or could be blood related. Just my guess.
The next HORIZON game has to be called HORIZON: NEMESIS. I mean, it's right there. In the GHOST trailer, the dualsword wielding almost made me cry. The founder of the dual-wield style (nitojutsu) was Myamoto Musashi, one of the most famous (and arguably best) samurai who ever lived. I read his biography back in college, as well as Musashi's seminal book on swordplay, bushido, and philosophy, THE BOOK OF FIVE RINGS. That was one thing I wished had been in GHOST OF TSUSHIMA. Glad they picked up the ball in the sequel.
I've tried VR, but found (with few exceptions) that the experience gave me motion sickness. This showcase had a lot of nostalgia play going on. And yes, when I saw SOUL REAVER Remastered, I wee'd a bit. Largely because it paves the way for BLOOD OMEN Remake. Please?
Oh Java another day i prithee to try monster hunter. It's probably not the kind of game you'd stream alot but if you have the time to play by yourself it's the kind of game you will play for 100s of hours and end up coming back every now and then.
Java i started playing Monster Hunter World after i beat DS3 and i have to say, its one of the best games ever. The old games are kind of rough. Monster hunter World is a perfect entry point, then wilds. I promise it looks daunting, but i promise its the most worthwhile endeavor, and fits right in with your fromsoft playthoughs!
Everyone is mad at Sony for not showing up with more big exclusives even tho Sony themselves said we wont get big exclusive games until next year. I think its totally fine, but I always said if Sony wont do a real showcase by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025 I will be very disappointed. Ghost of Yotei showed me they have stuff cooking. Also the Cerny guy had weird wording. He said something like "some of the games we havent revealed yet" and they showed only Ghost which tells me they probably had something planned to show already and cut it out for now.
Don't let MH intimidates you as it is great fun with an amazing community. I'm quite new to it myself and my time has been great Online is just co-op and is totally secondary it can be quite enjoyable as the game implies lots of grinding. World is a great entry point as it's kind of a soft reboot and is also the last main title release👍👍👍👍 please play it

The Horizon remaster looks a million times better
Honestly one of those ones where you REALLY notice the difference even though it's not that old
