    That particular look is a bit juvenile for my old-ass taste, but I can appreciate all the work you've put into it, great job, and great video, thanks for sharing.

    Not sure if you know but there's plastic sheets you can buy that you can use a heat gun and bend to whatever shape you want and there's this stuff you can buy that welds the plastic together ( use it outside trust me) then paint whatever color you want then add more plastic to your bike

      I actually redesigned it with pit bike plastics and seat.

    Did you port that cylinder if not porting it will help it run much better but if you did it needs a smaller jet it sounds like.

    • @LogansCustomWorks
      @LogansCustomWorks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I know it needs a smaller jet and no I don’t have the right tools to port or the knowledge but it runs better once it warms up

      @@LogansCustomWorks If you ever want to venture into porting let me know I'll help and I have a few videos on cylinder porting for reed and piston port engines, also if you get some exhaust wrap on the expansion chamber it will make it heat up sooner and make more heat stay in the pipe to help the effect the pipe has even greater and burn better to help it run even smoother.

    Wood putting on titanium wrap make the bike quieter. I mean surely it would lessen the vibration from the exhaust.

    I did the same thing for one of my other pipes I just use a rubber hose I got at AutoZone or something it was like a dollar 29 maybe you can use or find a piece of old handlebar that has a band and if you want to have that exhaust stick out like an actual dirt bike like you're explaining in the beginning of the video

    By the sound, you are running a bit to RICH. Most stock carbs come with a #70 internal JET, which in some cases is to RICH.
    For where I am at in Michigan the altitude, 674 ALS, a #67 is what I'm running now. Also on the internal throttle end inside of the top part of the carb, move the little clip up one notch, this will lean out the bottom end of the throttle a tiny bit. When you can hear the "POP" in the exhaust note the engine is running too RICH.
    The biggest thing with the Gasbike engines, no matter the :TUNE" they really, I mean, really need to be warmed-up, completely.
    This is called Heat Saturation. The Cylinder is Cast Aluminum that has a Chromed Bore, the piston is also case Aluminum with Cast Iron Rings. All these parts have different expansion rates, due to the Heat.
    Deeply heat these little monsters up you will have an engine that gives smooth powerful performance. With choke on I roll down a small hill near my place for the first start of the day, I go to 1/2 choke for a city block, choke off. About a block later I have a spot where I can sit for the Warm-Up. It won't idle when cold. I increase the throttle idle screw till it will run on it's own. As it warms up Idle speed will increase, so I turn down the idle a bit, RPM will increase again, turn it down again a little. By listening to the exhaust note as it warms up the Four stroking "POP" will diminish, a lot. When these engines are running good in 2 Stroke you will "feel" power increase with throttle increase and it will be running quieter,and smoother.

      I think in order to getting a super quiet, but an awesome tone; you would need a multi chamber with packing exhaust while having a smaller exhaust tip. Still with a curvy and straight flow exhaust. Kind of like the hand held generator.

      Hellllll no😂😂😂 a stock kit with a 28mm carb and a fake (useless) expansion chamber?? God no. I’ve got a billet case minarelli vertical 78.6cc that I have a tm24 mikuni flat slide on, and that’s borderline too much. Mikuni vm18 carb and kx85 dirt bike pipe is the ONLY WAY to make this bike quicker. Still be a far cry from “scary fast” lol
