2013 Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 Sound - Accelerations, Fly Bys & Flames

- This morning I recorded the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2, developed by the famous Reiter engineering, in action on track during a test day at Monza Circuit. The car is moved by a 5.2 liter V10 engine with a max power of more than 600 bhp at 8000 rpm. You can hear some full throttle accelerations, a fly by on the main straight and some nice downshifts with flames and backfires.

GT3 is customer racing, GT2 is (i dont know the english word) the official team from a manufator. But today GT3 and GT2 are at the same speed, but the homolagtion and bop works complete differently. Sorry for my bad english bro, hope you can understand what i mean ;-)
CaptainSlowE92 is right. Its part of the rules that the gt3 cars tave rear wheel drive.

What does "FL2" mean?
These older Gallardos had a fantastic sound, the newer Huracans don't sound nearly as good. Same with the Bentleys, the previous generation sounded way better. Best sounding car in the category now is the old V12 Aston Martin, that thing is GLORIOUS. Sadly it won't be around for long once they get the new V8 twin turbo model sorted.

Lucas It's because the wave sound takes a certain time to get to the ears or microphone ;)
Lucas cause the speed of sound is lil bit slower than speed of light,so first u see it and than u hear it,depending how far is it...just like when u see fireworks or thunder in sky,u see the light first and then hear the sound.

It's because of the distance and because light is faster then sound
Light travels at 9.3 km a second while sound travels at 761 mph ( idk what it is in kilometers) like in explosions or in a storm you will see it ( most likely if you not to close lol) before you hear it.
As everyone already said its because light travels a lot faster than sound. If we say bozzy was 500 metres away from where the car started braking, he would hear it about 1.4 seconds after he sees it
Of course having walls for the sound to bounce off of doesn't hurt
