Great flavor components but impossible to replicate; your custom ingredients promise a unique outcome. Most of us will have a variety of flavorful components but the exact combination you describe sound intriging
True. I'll never even be able to 100% replicate it, but that's part of the fun sometimes, but the base ingredients do make one of my favorite spirits. 🥃
Hey JC, I couldn't really tell on the video but I'm curious... How finely ground were the coffee beans you used for this, if at all? Sincerely, RuneShine the Norse-Druid Alchemist from lower Michigan ✌️💚🫠
😎👍 Okay cool, thanks🙏 I've even heard whole beans or just like broken beans works fine as well. Which makes sense since generally an increase in surface area just decreases the time it takes to achieve sufficient extraction 🤔 I can imagine with something kinda bitter like coffee a more efficient extraction isn't even necessarily always desirable 😅 I love coffee tho and rums are my jam. So I'm definitely interested in trying this sometime 🫠

Good episode, man.
Looking forward to seeing more.
Thank you! Plenty more on the way 🥃

Imma make a mash from just coffee and yeast and distill it and say I made the first coffee moonshine
I've made this a couple of times, and I've enjoyed it both times.
One day will get together and drink some!
Great video cousin.
Thanks cuz. I still wanna age some on beans like you do!
Just crush them up a bit but don't grind them
Good video. I like the barrel. And the blooper!!
Thanks for sticking around till the end. Sometimes the lights come on and my mind goes blank 😆
I think it's the first time I ever saw the man behind the mask. I liked it.
Nice shirt homie!
Thanks, thought I'd sneak a little product placement in there 😉
Nice and interesting video sir!
Appreciate it man. It is a unique spirit, thanks for watching! 🍻
The only thing that sucks is the number of different runs in this run. If this was amazing how hard would it be to duplicate.
I did add a lot of extra stuff this time, but it's an excellent spirit (imo) with just the basics.
Coffee & Molasses/Sugar Cane.
Thanks for watching 🥃
Thanks for sharing ☮️
Subbed.
Thank you 🍻
Nice job JC
Thank you! Definitely beefed this version up. I'd like to try sorghum like you did
@@FlatwoodsCellars I'm going to do Sorghum again but without the coffee. I'm thinking a 💩 load of vanilla
How well would black tea work for this?
If would definitely change it, but I think it would work well! I'd love to try it.

Hey bud, About like cracked corn. I've used finely ground before and I can't tell a difference. Other than it's messier.
😎👍 Okay cool, thanks🙏

@@thealchemist-hr8me Awesome, lemme know if you do. I know of a couple people that make it quite regular now.
