Great video Brother! Been fighting the wind here in MO all year! This last 12month period has been one of the windiest years I can remember. It's like living in OK! Been catchin um though! My Grandson that we are raising caught a 15 inch crappie last Friday! Been catching 10 to 13 inch Crappie regularly all week! They are turned on here!😀

Thanks for posting all these great videos. Caught my first Crappies here in my local lake (Speedwell Forge Dam, PA) based off your info, and from an old video, the tip you had about bending the tip of the hook outwards slightly to land more strikes. Keep these very informative videos coming, sir :)

I like the perfect drag on that reel. Click click click. This guy makes crappie fishing into a real sport with his 1lb line! cool stuff. I like how the fish hang out for half a second before they dive down when he lets em go.

You inspired me to try 4-pound line on a light rod/reel, and I caught a small bass, a baby crappie, and 10 bluegill. I used a bobber to catch the last 5 bluegill, 4-5 feet deep, about 10-20 feet from shore on a windy day.
