    Brandon little tip for everyone . If your slip float fishing and you are fishing in lots of brush or stake beds or anywhere where you are or will be getting hung . Pull that split shot down to where it's 1/2 inch to inch above hook and you will be able to easily get out by jiggling your split in the correct or opposite way . Long as you haven't buried the hook that is . Soon as you feel that brush or whatever it may be give a little jiggle and most times come right over or through with assistants from split shot . Old Timer here on Ky. Lake showed me and I promise ya it save ya more times than not .

    Brandon I really enjoy your videos I like the way you simplify things like showing the fish finder , how you tie or use jigs. I'm glad you show a lot of crappie fishing, I'm not into bass fishing. Every video is an opportunity to learn something. Thanks for sharing brother.

    Nice crappie. Never fished up there for crappie. When I was young we night fished Normandy, Woods, Center Hill, Percy Priest and others for smallmouth. Nothing like a smallmouth tail walking under a black light. Love your videos and looking forward to the next one. Merry Christmas!

    Brandon, I like your videos ! Something confuse me here is the depth. Someone says the bait should go deep like 10 Ft , 20 Ft or around in Winter, but your 1 ft depth work great. So, where is the right depth for crappie to suspend around?

    • @BrandonLesterFishing
      @BrandonLesterFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have my depth set at about 6-10 ft for most of the video. It all depends on where you are fishing and how deep the crappie are. Thanks for watching!

    I really enjoyed your video and I hope you do not mind my questions. What state are you in? What time of day was it? Are you using any particular type of gloves ? Are these fish near structure or suspended in open water?

    • @BrandonLesterFishing
      @BrandonLesterFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t mind at all. I’m in Tennessee. It was a pretty cool day 45 degrees or so, cloudy and no wind. The gloves are made by HUK. Most of these fish were suspended over rock except for the fish on the bridge which were obviously relating to the bridge column. Thanks for watching!

    • @BrandonLesterFishing
      @BrandonLesterFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the fish were shallow, say 4 feet or less, then I would use a stationary float. Any deeper than that and it gets hard to cast so the slip bobber is better. Thanks for watching!
