The TYEPRO works best with jigs between the sizes of 1/64th oz. and 1/2 oz, and with hooks from sizes 14 to 5/0. The TYEPRO Fly & Ice works best with flies between the sizes of 2 and 16. It works well with ice jigs between the sizes of 1/32 to 1/8 oz., and hooks from size 10 to 1.

Tom, thanks for inventing these. I bought two TYEPROs, one for flies and one for jig hooks. I am 78 years old and have really struggled getting small flies tied on 2 lb. tippet. Your tools work great. I have the shaky hands and bad eyesight that comes with age, but with 10 minutes of practice, I was able to use both tools and had no trouble getting small flies tied on my line. Every fly fisherman should have one of these.

Tom, you need to get a clickable link in your video. You wouldn't believe how easily the average non-computer person gives up. I don't see a clickable link and I don't see your website in your video comment. Even if this thing sucks, you should be selling BOATLOADS just from this video. Also, get this video some exposure! I found this by accident looking up instructions for a uni knot. I belong to a bunch of social media fishing groups and didn't see it. Looks like an amazing product. You deserve to make some $$ before this thing is copied by every company out there!

Does this work with Braid Line?
G. Videna l don’t recommend TYEPRO for use with braid. You can read more about this by going to www.tyepro.com and clicking on the FAQs/Tips tab.
It's doesn't really work on some spinners....at least not with Rooster Tails and the like
TYEPRO will work with in-line spinners if the eyelet size is within the design range of the tool. To create the line twists for a Clinch knot, you will need to use the end-over-end technique as shown in the video for tying large hooks on the FAQs/Tips tab at www.tyepro.com.
