Hey folks, and welcome back to another video! Today, I shared some tips that can help keep you from becoming bored of Minecraft. It's basically how I got myself to enjoy Minecraft more. Motivated! I'm not motivated, I'm obsessed! Seriously, try and stop me playing Minecraft! I dream about Minecraft... sometimes in the weirdest ways. Still good points. I don't play just a single world, and I do other things. In fact there's a different game I took a break from and have to return to. They probably drop-kicked me from the guild.
LOL.
I played a heck of a lot of a VR MMO called Zenith back in 2022.
I bet my guild hates me by now. I was the guy who hung around the starter area helping newbies and guiding them along, wore a black cloak n everything.
Then I just disappeared XD
One other reason I should mention is the speedrunner mindset. Basically when you play you are focusing on getting the best stuff as soon as possible so you can get to the "fun" part which ultimately leads to quick burn-out forgetting what the game was all about in the first place. A sandbox game where you can play however you want in the way you like the important thing is to find the path that brings you joy it's your world you can do whatever you like it doesn't need to be efficient or fancy or with purpose sometimes crafting things are just there to look cool it doesn't need to be practical.

On my survival series (the world you see in this video), I did not upgrade to diamond gear until episode 10. People kept asking why, and I just said "because I enjoy taking it slow."
@DiamondDepthYT You're like me. In my world i played for 122 days and I'm still on stone tools you know why? I like to keep my resources for times of need I have a full double chest with stone pickaxes exclusively for strip mining. My diamond pickaxe I use it only when i go to diamond level or when i want to mine obsidian. Stone shovels are the same as any other type, just more expandable gold is low durability like wooden shovel & diamond shovel is a waste of diamonds because I'm doing alot of terraforming & relying on diamond won't be enough. I made my axes from iron mostly because I need so much wood unlike ores. The diamond hoe is self explanatory. I use diamonds on a sword & a pickaxe because both are essential to my progress while the other tools are iron or mostly stone.
Point #2 resonates with me so much since I always thought I was this “bastard child” of the Minecraft community for playing with furniture mods. But what you said is true, Minecraft is the ultimate sandbox game because the sandbox aspect also applies outside of the game. You can play Vanilla Survival or modded with tons of different modpacks to choose from and mods to add into your game. Crazy how we all have different play styles, you play in Modded Beta Minecraft while I play in Modded 1.12.2, some play horror modpacks, some other play RPG, but ultimately we’re still playing the same game. I don’t think any other game has ever achieved that kind of diversity.

I make a 15X15 dirt hut and live out of it until I have tons of supplies. Then I turn the dirt square into a hill and build on top of it.

4:36 If you're on Windows, there's actually this great launcher that's literally called Bedrock Launcher (very straight-to-the-point name lol) that allows you to easily play older versions of Bedrock.
I've heard a little bit about that! Wasn't certain it existed, though.

As someone who mainly builds, trying Redstone has been motivating. Trying to build contraptions & farms without following tutorials is fun & challenging which keeps me motivated.
TheRekTrex! Hello!! I haven't seen you in a while. And yeah, I'm the same as you. Gave some redstone a try and I'm really enjoying it. Same w/ command blocks.
Great Video! Its a sandbox game there is no wrong way, I always love that message. Yeah, Mega builds really kill Minecraft motivation all the Hermits said that. For me my favorite base was an accident. I made an amusement park for an smp for people to build in, and I started building minigames for the whole season. Loved it. Spawnchunks Podcast talks about going outside and experiencing life to be motivated to build. And I like gaining inspiration from life for building: Movies, video games, other people.

Very informative, motivation with playing Minecraft Is something that I struggle with so I will try to take some of the tips from this though in general I tend to struggle with motivation with pretty much anything even outside games, one of the things I'm proud of is building a floating pirate ship docked on a floating island in Better Than Adventure since building flowing stuff In beta is more difficult than modern Minecraft, unfortunately due to me incorrectly updating the game a while ago and losing all my achievements has made me want to start a new world though I will use it as an opportunity To build better, I know I could technically continue my old world and get all the achievements but I also want to start a new world so I could see some of the new generation from some of the later updates that I missed out on and also I bet I can build a bigger fleet of floating ships.
Dude, when I built the 1,000 blocks of Minecart rails for the achievement, I stumbled upon some of the new terrain gen. The biomes look sick!

Recently I got curious, so I asked Chatgpt to write me a script (based on this video's script). The script it spit out is SO SCARILY accurate to a script I'd write.. like WTF.
And AI voices are getting so accurate. I can kinda see why you'd think my voice is AI, my commentary is a very distinct type that AI seems to recreate really easily.
Wdym motivated, if you don't enjoy playing the game why would you force yourself to?
Video games are supposed to be fun, if you need to motivate yourself to play them go do something else instead.
That actually ties into one of my tips lol. Take breaks, don't just make MC your only game.
