In this video I take a look at the incredible Sunset Rollercoaster and their amazing live session of My Jinji at Yuchen Cinema Studios, Taiwan. This is a beautifully recorded live session so I was keen to share my thoughts on it and the recording.
great react over My Jinji, sunset rollercoaster really is a very underrated band, keep up the good contents!
I am glad a professional is giving an indepth analysis on this song! It truly deserves one! Although I am no sound designer I like to consider myself a writer and I love getting philosophical and emotional, so I am glad you reviewed this song because it's such a beautiful song, it gives me a sense of nostalgia and happiness, the first time I listened to this song I was hit with every major memory I have encountered previously in my life, and it really made me think of everything, fiction, reality, development, so much was going on in my mind I ended up crying, but it still made me really happy, and I absolutely love this song! It gives really good feelings yet it manages to be bitter sweet! It's amazing how much aspects you can analyze music and songs with, I hope this little comment I left here was nice to read, but great review! This song certainly deserved one
Thanks for commenting and sharing, and I'm glad you enjoyed the song. It really is an exceptional piece of music. It's amazing the power of music really!
The bass is not a Fender P, it's a Lakland 44-60 which is a higher end Fender Jazz copy. You can tell by their oval bridge and headstock. From the tone, you can tell that the bridge pickup is being somewhat favored.
Niceee! Love this
It's an r84 ribbon on sax, had royer in my head when filming but it's AEA!
I love this band. Do you have any tips to replicate that snare sound as far as processing goes? If you start with a very dry snare sample, how would you replicate it in your daw?
please analyse their official video too
Keep up the good work
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Good analysis.
My younger brother is the redheaded guy in the beginning of the video, he owns the studio.
That's cool! Looks like a fantastic studio
@@TheBunkhouseStudios I sent a link to your review to him last night. He was pretty impressed with the review. He replied "Wow, never saw this."
"This is a good way to wake up"
@@user-nv6om5do6q that's awesome! Glad he enjoyed it!

8:40 Don't say isolation Marc, not now =(
Sound engineers - isolating before a global pandemic deemed it necessary
too much talking.
