I’ve fished for white bass in Utah like we went to the entrance right off of w center street in Provo you go straight down to where the turn around is and all the rocks on the edge we used a pink jig with paddle tail swim baits and caught at least 25 in an hour or two
Cool! Only thing I've ever caught in Utah Lake has been Catfish. I need to go visit the fam again and head out there and try some of them white bass. Looks like a lot of fun. I hear they are very tasty as well.
I live down in north Ogden and I fish mostly Willard pinview weber river and bear and Ogden river the most. But utah lake is my favorite catfish place and I live to fish and especially catfish. Caught many 15lb channel cats out there a long time ago right after I got out of high-school. I need to make more trips down there and the urban canals for carp.
The description, "THE FISHING IS STILL HOT" white bass will bite anything in front of their face, pretty much year round. i like em cause you don't have to think like trout fishing. get a rigged twirl tail (jig) or a spinner and they'll gobble it up. good work man! id like to see ya try the river too, lakeshore trailhead on down
@@sndnfry According to the subscriber, there was a Bill Dance who passed away and was also a fisherman. Ha ha. I even found an obituary for a Bill Dance who was a "legendary bass fisherman" who died in 1993 in Utah. Small world. I'm gonna see if TH-cam will let me cut out that part to avoid confusion.
@@UtahFishingChannel Ha, it's all good, brother! Enjoyed the video. I'm in the Philippines now, but am heading back to Utah next month (Bountiful). It'd be cool to collaborate on a project next year.
Look at all that trash man, not your fault. But it's sad that humans who normally wear clothes with pockets, refuse to hike in hike out their own messes. Good video though!
Well done bud ! Great to see the lil man out there enjoying the outdoors ! Good on ya .
Thanks for watching! We sure love the outdoors!

Ummmmmmm, a little question. Without a car and boat, where is a good place for me to fishing? I live in Lakeview by the way
Scofield from the shore is amazing! Also, try all of Utah's amazing rivers and streams! Burraston Ponds (Mona) is really hot right now!
@@UtahFishingChannel Oh OK, that helps a lot. Thank you
I follow the pelicans allot and they lead me to the fish when its slow.
That is very smart!
Good to eat?
Some people like ‘em! I don’t 😬
Is your tube jig weighted? Or do you put your weight 3ft away from the tube jig@UtahFishingChannel
Bill Dance is alive. Whew. Scared me.
We must be thinking of different Bill Dances?
