I have a broken Alienware laptop I bought with 33 bitcoins back when the Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl. I contacted dell and they didn’t help me. I gave it to my brother who is a so called computer expert and he said he couldn’t fix it. It’s just sitting in a box rotting away. I don’t even know if I should waste time getting it fixed if my brother ruined it during his repair. I should’ve never gave it to him. Don’t know what to do with it. All that was wrong was a f***ing ribbon cable that caught on fire. When I opened it myself I noticed a ribbon cable that looked burned. I toyed around with the ribbon cable and it would magically turn on for a few days. Dell wouldn’t give me a replacement and there was none online where I could buy the ribbon cable.
You got a good deal on that laptop! I am not sure which model you have, but we are the leading supplier of Dell and Alienware parts. Have you checked our website? parts-people.com . You can enter your Dell service tag and find the parts you need there, or call us directly for help.
A 3,5 in power rail failure could be repairable, but we cannot service laptops outside of the US because the shipping cost is too great, and we would not be able to warranty the repair.
@@dellpartspeople awe that‘s sad, could i maybe pay the shipping costs and just tell u guys to not give me warranty? I‘d like to see my laptop in a short of yours, or vid, looked cool watching this vid and i would surely love to see what u figured out was wrong with it
I need help, My Alienware x17 R2 won't boot, it show 2 Red, 3 blue lights, keyboard light is also on, but that's about it, memory RAM is not the case here... please help
A 2,3 error is no RAM detected. I would reseat the memory. If you have already done that, you will need to try one stick at a time per slot. Try all combos. You can send your machine in if you cannot figure it out. Fill out a repair form at partspeople.com
