Both future04 and current 94 versions are experiencing the events and storing the memory in real time, because “the future hasn’t happened yet” and they’re creating a new future in this new time line. And at the end I always assumed Max Walker wasn’t sure what memories in his mind to believe, he has a lot to take in in that moment. Probably feeling more like amnesia. Just my thoughts.

McComb goes back 1994 to prevent his younger self from bought out of his share of Parker McComb Data Systems and lose out when the stock takes off. During that jump, McComb shoots (amd presumably kills) Jack Parker. When Walker gets back to 2004 after that jump. He is told that he was lucky to get back, and the pod launch clearly reads McComb Datalink. In the conclusion of the movie, after Walker kills McComb and saves his wife in '94, why is it that when he returns to '04 the pod launch wall reads Parker Datalink? What really became of Jack Parker?
7:16 thats the one inescapable time paradox. Also if you go back in the past... and return to the future and everything is different, what happened to that version of you that existed in that timeline? Shouldn't you have the memories of that person? Because with how its set up he is stepping into a life he knows nothing about, raising a kid he doesn't know... but there was a version of him that knew. Imagine not knowing anything. Furthermore, by killing both McCombs in the past... and considering McComb killed the guy who created time travel and took over his technology and company, but he died along with that dude later that night... there shouldn't even have been a way for Van Damm to return because no one was around to develop the technology. Even if someone else figured it out it most likely would be different, and Van Damm wouldn't be connected to that timeline. Things gets screwy if you think about the ramifications and consequences for too long Edit: and you went on to talk about just that. Lol

The "law of physics" you're referring to is the Pauli exclusion principle , which states that two identical fermions (particles with half-integer spin ) cannot occupy the same quantum state simultaneously. That's about the only science I could find on it.

Real quick... If you in 1994 was tricked your 2004 body in 1994 wouldn't have instantaneously new memories of what is currently happening. Your 2004 brian can't learn things that are happening clearly from 1994 at the same time it's focused on its now. He wouldn't know he was tricked anyway because the 1994 him was about to die what did not yet or before. 2004 him is only going to remember things from a timeline that leads to now. Since Walker changed his timeline by saving his loves life his 2004 brian doesn't forget its time traveling timeline. It's probably over time going to remember things from the non travelling timeline. Bruce Willis in looper doesn't all the sudden learn things what his Joseph Gordon levitt self is newly experiencing. Oh how people overthink time travel. TIMECOP is in my top 10. Cinama, comics, video games, music is all about what entertains you not about what people are going to judge you on. Now go watch Knock Off you won't be disappointed.
