So the taxpayers bailed AIG out in 2008 with no actual approval from the people and in return we get 35% insurance increases over 4 years. Who are the politicians that are approving these insurance cost raises? They do have to be approved every year. We have to remove them at all costs, party does not matter they are all just as guilty.
M2 money supply increased 42% in just 3 years starting at the beginning of the pandemic. It's a monetary issue, not a fiscal one. Milton Friedman is proven correct once again. Good news is that the rate of increases will slow and we already see that the CPI rate is now 2.5% and down trending. Economics is very complicated and I understand the frustration. State Farm jacked up my car insurance too, so I switched to Progressive haha
The only solution : Tax payers can create cooperative alternatives insurance industry . A regional nonprofit "credit union like insurance agencies ". No middle man involved, where everyone participate in this pool, and all shares the risks .Regulated by the state law, like proposition 13 for price stability
Part of a bigger problem is uninsured drivers that have accidents and the rest of us get to pay for, Tennessee does NOT in any way check to see if you have a dimes worth of insurance and we have more uninsured drivers that you can count. The state doesn't want to be the bad guy and make "poor" people pay for insurance or impound their car if they get caught with no insurance or valid registration. The Feds need to mandate all states have verified auto insurance systems in place. North Carolina comes to mind, you so much as sneeze without insurance they cancel your registration, fine you for lapse and call for your tags.
Here in Rhode Island,up until about 7 years ago,it was cheaper to pay the fine if you were caught without auto insurance than to get insurance!! Then the law changed, and after 30 days after an insurance policy lapses, your driver’s license automatically gets suspended!!
The uninvited definitely don’t have car insurance but somehow they can afford cars 🤔 . And regular Americans can’t afford both used and new cars. Make it make sense
Auto insurance premiums are tightly controlled by state regulatory boards appointed by the Governors. Said another way, the companies cannot increase premiums without their crony regulators getting a piece of the "action." and yes, not amount of high rates will bring down insurance costs.
That make sense if you have an older car. It costs way more to repair the newer cars on the road, with all the sensors, electronics on body panels and unibody designs than the older cars.
Everyone made fun of Mr. Orange they called him ,he was the absolute devil. Then Mr. Unifier for peace and prosperity comes over and the headline was we’re making history ! First this first that ,everything’s fantastic! Groceries are thousands of dollars ,insurance is out of control ,folks wallets are empty ,ohh but america is doing great ! Let’s pay off your loans and give everyone free everything ,housing now . But we have hundreds of millions for Ukraine ,none for folks with cancer or homeless veterans ! This is a joke and the media glorifies this horrible mess on tv ,it’s disgraceful.
With supposedly (as reported by new media) millions of people living pay to pay check or falling behind on bills, I'm expecting a lot of people to forgo insurance like car insurance and health insurance. Get ready for thousands of people to get financially wrecked when the cause an at fault accident or have an expensive medical bill. Make sure you got uninsured motorist insurance!
I live in a mid size Midwest city and all I can tell you is that a) the city police are few in number and no longer support traffic laws period. I mean rarely you’ll see some ‘sting’ set up for public appearances but that’s usually by the state police. But rampant speeding and running red lights etc it is the Wild West basically and b) cars are so dinged up because now everyone has to have one even if they have bad credit and cannot afford it due to their mismanagement of their funds so they’re all dinged up. And all that irresponsible driving means many more accidents and so you’re insurance rates are going up, up, up.
It’s high time for state regulators to start investigating the practices of large insurance companies. Something really fishy going on here. Americans are gradually being priced out of BOTH car and home ownership. Who is behind it?🤔
Parts cost more too as vehicles are being sold at extremely high prices too( just part of problem) bring prices of vehicles down, insurance will go down or it should go down
Insurance is the biggest scam there ever was, you pay and pay but insurance is reluctant to pay when you’re in a accident, the government needs to get involved and put a stop to raising your insurance every year even though i’m not at fault.
Stop Paying! you could Roller Skate! to work! Public Transportation! Car Pool! Uber! Ride a Bicycle to work! Electric scooter! ride a Horse! Skate board! people are too Dependent on Cars!. When you get tired of Paying! for Insurance! you'll think of other Alternatives for Transportation!. YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED! TO PAY FOR CAR INSURANCE!.
Capitalism is nowhere in the Bill Of Rights. We were to have free enterprise with a debt free currency. "The Federal Reserve System is not Federal; it has no reserves, and is not even a system at all. But rather an international criminal syndicate."- Eustace Mullins.
Just buy a $30 dollar donkey 🫏 you don’t need insurance I ride my donkey 🫏 to work every day you should see us on the weekends when we do donkey 🫏 drag racing 🤓
A lot of people will have to stop driving. Repair shops at $175/hr. Average insurance $2150/year…. not to mention the cost of the cars

30 percent hike last year and now 8-10 percent every six months it all gone out of control
Insurance donations to lobbyist allows them to raise rates to the max. It's corruption in politicians that brings American people down.

EVERY SINGLE TIME 😎👍
Anyone else noticed that liability insurance is still 90% of the cost. Even if you drop comprehensive collision you don't save that much.
Liability insurance is way cheaper for me. Been considering it since all my cars are paid for. Right now I just have a $2000 deductible
That make sense if you have an older car. It costs way more to repair the newer cars on the road, with all the sensors, electronics on body panels and unibody designs than the older cars.
@@parkerpkthn Crime is so out of control under this administration that you need full coverage else you risk losing your car to theft.
Best economy ever though I thought 😂
CPI is literally the only economic metric that is not ideal right now
Build back broke

My car insurance for my family with Allstate went down almost $300 for my upcoming renewal. And has held steady over the past several years.
Absolutely our vehicle insurance went up 9.1% in six months without any changes.

Time to start walking.
Tell it to the FED who are 'Trying' to achieve a soft-landing!
And they are doing so surprisingly effectively. However bad you think it is, it could be SO much worse.
What does it have to do with latest VlD?
Just 2 years ago I was paying 240 now 427 no accidents or nothing
Parts cost more too as vehicles are being sold at extremely high prices too( just part of problem) bring prices of vehicles down, insurance will go down or it should go down
"Only when you get caught." 🤣

Welp America. Go against everything you know. Buy what you need not what you want.
Greed
That's usually the Republican way, greed.😐
