- What happens around here in the wet season? We start the episode with a rescue mission to North Island where our mates are "beached as." And we finish the episode with a nice Barramundi. With a couple of other bits and pieces in between.

Awesome, Having rescued a few beached boats, it always seems easier to drag them towards the water at an angle rather than straight. I usually go in a zigzag pattern if that makes sense.
The 250 ponys behind Ash's crabbing boat certainly helped too. Haha.

Hi Micky, I am coming up to King Ash Bay, starting my journey about mid June, 2024. Can you please tell me what the drinking water quality is like at King Ash Bay compared to bottled drinking water for example?
I don't want to fill my boat water tank at home, just to tow it 4,700 kms if I can help it. Cheers
When I lived at King Ash Bay I used to drink the water straight out of the tap for years. It is bore water, but it never made me sick.
A lot of the grey nomads that come to King Ash Bay think the water tastes terrible. But apparently Borroloola water is really good.
