Mighty young planes to be having such a thorough cabin upgrade. Cannot wait to see what it looks like! I sure wish there would be some advancement in economy...
No, Singapore airlines won't install the same cabin design on the 777X. Before the 777X is introduced they will have a new cabin layout. Singapore airlines are no slackers.
I worked for Safran Seats when we provided their First Class Skyroom suites for their A380s. 6 per aircraft. Beautiful product. Are they using the same company this time? I've retired.
With the now long term closure of USSR to western airllines, I read SG's reconfig of the planes used for JFK-SIN as acknowledment of range limitations and need to reduce passenger count/weight. Still pretty amazing they manage it non stop without ability to fly direct over the pole and looking at past flight routes, SIN-JFK goes via japan/alaska and JFK-SIn went via Newfoundland, UK, Turkey. Pakistan, India. In essence a round the world trip. Curious if thsi has become a pride/marketing thing or f the flight is still profitable. You'll note that back in the days of A340-500, there was more pride than money in operating the flight due to capacity restrictions to meet the range.
That's rather a lot per plane. Perhaps SQ should first ask themsekves why I was only offered a single alcoholic drink on a 14-hour flight between Singapore and London.
@Kevin-sl2yw Economy. I've flown with both Malaysia and Singapore long-haul in the past couple of years, and Malaysia edged the competition. But I think that Singapore is the stronger of the two airlines across all business functions and would certainly get my booking if connections were involved.
@@well-blazeredman6187 From what I remember, they usually go for one round of alcohol in economy unless you ask for another. In business and in first it's a lot different as there are more crew to each passenger. Also, does Malaysia serve alcohol?
Insane! Singapore Airlines is progressing!
As a Singaporean, I am very excited.

interesting! by the time this begins, the oldest A350s will be already 10 years old or more, good time to start renewing the interiors.
the A350 was relatively lightly used during the heavy covid timing tho

These look to be very nice cabins props to Singapore Airlines
@@EvanBoone-d6d I am interested in purchasing the A380 plane with all trimmings?
Can I know the price please?
Even if they don’t upgrade their current interior beats so many airlines already 😂
It is clear to me that Singapore Airlines
really cares about Passengers Wellbeing
❤I am interested in purchasing the plane
Can I get a confirmation now please❤😂🎉🎉😢😮😅😊

Go to the sales department at Airbus Toulouse and bring 300 million in your brief case.
These new seats on the 900ULRs might as well rival Emirates' A380s and 777s on ULR routes!!

Passed one parked up in LGW so it'll be interesting to see the upgrades. They certainly clock up the mileage.
Looks like an answer to Emirates massive cabin update
The business class seats are from 2012 and are dated. The new seats were meant to be debuted on the 777X but we all know what happened
Presumably, their heavy checks are coming up, and therefore, this is a natural time to upgrade interiors.
Amazing video
And Delta is investing in new blankets and pillows. 😂
Don't laugh! That is serious progress for them 🤣

Qantas is taking India -Australia traffic at the expense of Singapore . More flight from southern Indian cities to Singapore is needed .
AI will codeshare with SQ
Qantas is crap and SQ has larger market capitalisation so they're not worried.
They should upgrade the medium haul A350 business class with a priority. They are not nearly as good or comfy as opposed to their long haul options.
It would want to be worth it if it's going to take the most of 6 years and that amount of money.
These 900ULRs are less than 5 years old???? WOW
Well They've got liads of a350s so it's worth it
To compete with Emirates who does the same
SQ will have the A350's done and Boeing still will not have delivered a B777X to a customer then... 🤣
The longer the delays the better. We don't need any more aircraft falling out of the sky.
Oh Jonathan. That’s naughty lol
When will the livery be updated?
Never
Maybe they can ask lufthansa if they like there old chairs 😂 ...and Lufthansa can fit theyer 350 with a 1-2-1 Buisness instead of theyere 2-2-2

Did you ask for more? Which cabin were you in?

@Kevin-sl2yw Yep - MA does serve alcohol on its long-hauls.
