How on earth do they all start at exactly the same time? I mean that's just one of my 'how on earth' questions with these amazing musicians, but it bears asking. Anyway, an absolutely beautiful arrangement and performance. Pure genius.
Dave did play in 2022. They’ve got their share of soprano, concert and baritone ukuleles, all great, and Brian does a very good lead ukulele. They still have their great voice harmonizing, and jokes, and enough songs to make a show worthwhile. So even when I miss Will, George or David, the playing and overall performance seems surprisingly complete, because the newer additions are pretty well rounded. I don’t pretend to know the why’s or what’s. A bass is indispensable to balance the sound, I’ve never seen more than one per ensemble, but Jonty is more than just a bass. I miss his awesome bass playing, and his voice, and jokes, and … smile. 😢

Where’s Dave and Jonty?
On Jonty's website he says they didn't renew his contract because he has cancer. As to Dave and Richie they haven't been seen for ages.
