High speed rail transport is required in countries like India. But states like Kerala where there is a revenue deficit and tons of debt can't afford to do that. Add gross mismanagement, militant trade unionism (like KSRTC) , it's designed for failure. They should at least make the money for interest repayment and daily operation.
