Also since Ai didn’t want or could raise Annie and the keepers had to, she may just think of Annie as a rouge gorilla. It’s like people, sometimes you can just never get along with someone. Zoos have their reasons for putting or not putting new gorillas in and you got to think about if there are any to take. They may eventually put in another female for Shabani but right now they won’t they’ll probably wait till nene passes and Annie and kiyo leave

I absolutely do NOT think Shabani is mean or vicious. If he were truly mean, he would hurt them terribly. But I do think he is frisky and high-spirited. Yes, he taunts them but I still do NOT think it's mean. With his fangs and strength, if he was mean they would be maimed or hurt. The zoo keepers would remove him in that case. I've seen other silver-backs in other zoos and they were far more overbearing and forceful. That is not the case of Shabani!
Shabini is a jerk instead of picking on his son as a threat to his power he always picks on nene which I think is cowarldy because she is female u would think he would pick n harrassed his son out of group unnatural

Shabani would be the king oit in the wild with many wives and a huge family. He's not living the life he should be. Considering that it makes sense for him to need to release energy. If he was mean he'd have to be separated because he'd severely injure the others. He's just trying to show off and assert his dominance.

He looks the most human, reproduce his genes, maybe more like him will be born. Good for zoos, good for everyone. Do that occasionally also - He needs to pull upon his total strength, he can't do that with his family & midgets. This is my educated opinion.
