heading out adventuring this weekend. going over the rig tomorrow, and prepping the loadout... for me, wife, and all the kids. waking up on the canyon looks outstanding!
That is the way to see the Grand Canyon. When we finally make it out there that is how we would like to experience it. Camping on the rim without all of the crowds of people. Looked like it was a fun trip.
It was awesome chatting with you both out on that ledge. Great spot out there. We camped that same night just back off the edge where the winds weren’t so bad.
Why don’t you have the same type of bars that you have running from the front bumper to the sliders running from the rear bumper to the sliders to protect the bedsides and lower portion of the alucab? Are you worried that would prevent any flex between the bed and the cab and lead to cracking and weakening of any vital components or is there some other reason for not having them?

How much does this truck weigh expedition ready?
What point did you stop at the north rim?
What kind of fuel economy does the Tacoma have while overlanding? Of course with the all the modifications and accessories?
Weird question.. what trail pants are those? We don’t get a lot of options in Australia. Specifically Brendan’s.
I believe those were Vertx 👍🏻
The Noobs on Patrol! :D
Can I ask what swing outs do you have, not sure if I have ever seen a set up like those!!
You bet! They are from CBI Off-road Fab 👍🏼 Love em!
Any suggestions on how to find backroads like that as I travel across the country?
onX Off-road has a great library of available trails! Pair that with some local knowledge and you will be on your way!
@@ExpeditionOverland Thanks! And I appreciate you taking the time to reply!
Where is episode 1?!
‘Montana Spring Camping’ should be in the Out and About Playlist or in our video section 👍🏼
Love the videos. Would like to see more diversity in the future
WOW! 4k rpm at 70. Is that a re-gear? Do y'all carry fuel with you when you go on these trips, or do y'all have a support crew?
I saw that too, I would not like that.
Maybe they had the OD off to keep the transmission from hunting gears?
We carry all of our own fuel 👍🏼 Sport shift for the win! Going up a hill 💪🏼
@@ExpeditionOverland wasn't trying to be ugly or condescending, just peaked my interest. Thanks for the content.
@@Jason-ms4gb didn’t think you were, all good! Good questions!
Jealous 😉
did you keep some weapon with you for seafty purpose
Udah🤒🤮😷
Flying in and out while your trucks travel on the back of a semi doesn't feel very Overland to me.
The trucks needed to ship out to the port to go overseas.
