Sams leather work is top notch I own s cross draw rig for my Ruger SBH 44mag 3.75 barrel and just ordered two more holsters ! Highly recommend Sam Andrews holsters you'll be amazed at how well made they are as well as you'll have an appreciation of a custom made leather holster instead of your typical mass produced leather rig !
With Silver Conchos on a Holster Rig, I love the Holster worn be Actor Alan Ladd in the 50's Western Classic "SHANE" the Rig was a Beautiful one also. & A classic Movie to Boot .
We can not ever forget The two other Greats in Hollywood & TV Westerns Arvo Ojala, & Andy Anderson, Their work Is all classic stuff, May they both RIP & are Sadly missed by all of their Fans etc Anderson, Made the famous " Walk & Draw' That MC Queen Wore in the Movie & Ojala made the Rig for TV's Western " Gunsmoke " For James Arness Etc.

Twist or Cavalry draw does not require one to sweep their body during the draw if it's done properly. See Duelist1954's video on the draw.

The backwards holster was actually a thing for cap and ball revolvers. Not made up very real and a used method for drawing a pistol

First if all get your facts right a twist draw if performed correctly the muzzle will never sweep your body
