- Hey All! It's Day 3 and the snow just won't quit!! Guess that what I get for coming up here when we're experiencing a HISTORIC EXTREME WEATHER EVENT of back to back snow storms, serious winds, and only one day of escaping from here between storm systems!!
Come along with me, as I document my crazy time in SNOWMAGEDDON 2023 in my RV!! Plus, we'll snow-shoe our way around the park - as I give you the 50 cent tour of the place :)

Your pictures of before and after the snow will be a treasure to have in the future. I have been watching different stations in California r/t this snow event and it looks like it is going to be one for the books. I lived in north Miami in the 70's when there was a freak snow, it was really only snow flurries that melted before it hit the ground. It is so peaceful walking in the snow, IMO. I enjoy your channel, so keep up the good work. I would not get on the roof of your rv, it is too dangerous, IMO, not worth it just for a video. Keep warm, be safe.
Thank you TJ A 💕 and I appreciate your caring concern. I'll be very thoughtful about going up on the roof again or not 🤔. My main concern, after my personal safety, is the weight of the snow load...getting any awesome footage would just be the cherry on top 🍒😁 (pun intended 😉)
@@RoamTownGirl just stay on the ladder and push it off with a shop broom. You can do it youngster😁🤗

Oh yes! I love it 🤗💕 but I notice Wesley is not handeling it as well. He seems to get colder easier in his senior years and I find him shivering. I think I have to consider that now, more than I had in the past ❄️👍🏻
@@RoamTownGirl How old is Wesley?
Well, since he's a rescue, I'm not 100% sure. That said, I've had him for about 12 years (in May ) and I was told by the rescue folks that he was 2 yrs when I got him - so that would put him at at least 14 yrs. The vet said that Wesley was older than 2 yrs when I first got him (based on his teeth). So he could be even older than 14 😲 All I DO know is that my first 2 American Eskimos lived to be 15 & 17 yrs - so, all I can figure is that he'll be around for another 1-3 years 🤷🏼♀️ Although, some Eskies have been known to make it to 18yrs, and some even 20 yrs??!! 🤞
We used to camp in Section B. My brother got "lost" one time when we were there. He was 3 at the time. They found him at the pond, trying to catch a duck. So cute watching your dogs play in the snow! 😃

I extra respect you. A person relying on herself, cautious of things like the virus yet you have the balls to go out and make life happen. I dont necessarily buy into the fears we are fed. Could be naive. But i pick up that you have some of these fears and you still go forward. I have to respect that. So much that i would say that i think youre a bad ass

I haved lived in Southern California for nearly 34 years, and I think this is the coldest winter I have experienced.
Tell me about it! Seems every summer gets hotter and each winter gets wilder 😲 One aspect that is making the full time RV life more challenging. I find myself camping more & more in places where I can have power for either running the AC or the space heater 🤦🏼♀️
@@RoamTownGirl We just got an emergency alert for a flash flood warning. That doesn't affect where I live, but it's in effect until 10:00 PM.
Good gracious! The only flash floods I like are the "pretend ones" at Universal Studios!! 🤪
There is lots of snow all over California. We had 4-5 inches in Willits, Ca. And part of hwy 101 in northern Mendocino County was actually closed today due to snow.

Not yet! Spending too much time shooting footage, editing, and uploading so I can post daily right now 😜 And, I KNOW!!! - doing laundry on the road has always been a hidden budget challenge 😉
Beautiful snow! Glad I'm not you! Lol It's beautiful till...it's not anymore! It was an unseasonably warm 70° here in Tennessee, yesterday. One never knows. Could be 40° degrees difference within 24 hours. You best mind your manners in those laundry facilities, girly! 😉 LoL Stay safe and warm. 🕊
🤣🤣 Luckily, I don't think I'll be doing laundry here, although if I did have to "hoof it over there", I'd probably be to winded to get into any trouble 🤪
