It did had polar bears until Gus and Tundra passed away Central park replace him with grizzly bears from the Bronx and Tundra was replaced by Dholes from San Diego Zoo Safari Park

18 years after the Madagascar movie came out I finally learned that most places in the Central Park Zoo don't look like in the movie. Except for the Delacorte clock which looks almost exactly like in the movie, and the octagonal enclosure in the middle as well as the general building/architecture and fence style also look very similar, but other than that the layout is quite different from the movie (in the movie the Delacorte Clock was portrayed as the main entrance directly in front of the octagonal enclosure).
Although I have seen some historic footage on TH-cam that shows that it looked more similar to the Madagascar movie some decades ago. There used to be monkey cages that looked almost exactly like in the movie. Maybe in Madagascar it was more modelled like how it looked some decades ago.

I missed the overal views, but I have seen many different animals. (I wondered though whether the bats have place enough to fly.)The plan of the zoo was also usefull.
