I’ve always had great success with Earl’s and XRP. The fittings Marty’s diesel sells seem to be good as well. I generally avoid “cheap” knock off fittings as you’re dealing with fuel, you don’t want any fittings to crack or not seal well.
So much for all those guys claiming they did efuel for $300, lol. Everyone knows they’re lying because the pump itself is $100. I figured it wasn’t a whole lot cheaper to piece it together, and then you risk the whole “I can’t drive my truck because I forgot that one $0.50 fitting” problem. I never imagined Marty (or Irate, 444Fab, etc.) were getting rich selling the kits
@@GarrettsOBSGaragethe ones who are doing it for half the price are cheaping out, and are also the one who are probably posting all the time because they have issues.
There was a time when an e-fuel kit for an OBS was ~$800. Sure it's plug and play and you're paying for the convenience that someone else did all the thinking for you. I didn't buy a kit since I wanted to do things "my way" and do things like eliminate the banjo bolt and wishbone line, and do a different filter and pump mounting.
I think ill stick to vegetable oil. And analog N/A engines. Works best for long distance travel. back and forth to the local 7 eleven not so much. . And haveing a truck thats OE with, 2 tanks is quite handy. . Still interesting, hadn't even heard about this being a thing. Dealing with the pre-combston chamber 7.3s
I've done this multiple ways. Most recently adding circuit to factory PDM.
Worth the extra time to have it clean and reliable.
Adding it to the factory box is always the cleanest way!
What brand of fittings do you recommend?

Exactly! To do it right, you’re spending just about the same money.

This retains both tanks, and this is for a powerstroke and not an IDI.
The E fuel upgrade has been a big thing on the PSD for a long time now
Pulling the power distribution box buss bar to add hot side fuse clips can be a delicate pain in the ass.
@@abpsd73 it’s not horrid. Lol
