The samurai series is fresh as f. Seems they are one of the only companies digging their own trench in this micro war. Nice to see freshness!
Iron Factory has come a long way. This is a stunning piece!
that "samurai type gun" is called a tanegashima (tanny ga shee ma) and was actually a matchlock rifle similar to many muskets of the day and these were some of the earliest firearms in history
I’m gonna have to go back and look at early reviews of this guy because I don’t remember him being painted this well. I’m guessing the guys that got them early (and for free) probably got pre-production samples. Seeing this is making me want to ship my Pile of Loot prematurely!

I do want this figure. I really wish IF would quit using clear plastic on JOINTS though. Tons of copies of this thing have snapped on those spots..
Alt-mode has Metal Slug vibes, like MMC Commotus/Turmoil or Spartan/Impactor
Don't usually collect iron factory but I couldn't resist this guy he just looked so good and in hand he didn't disappoint.

Tank mode requires some serious imagination. Spider turret is kinda cool though.

As per usual with the recent IF TF action figures I like the bot mode and I don't like the alt mode, I don't hate it but I don't like it. I bought it and I like it a lot. Thanks for the review Mr. Skullface.

I got this figure recently and the ankle AND elbow joints broke off 😭 he looks so good though
Jeez, guess that's a risk with such small intricate figures. What a shame.
I had a foot snap clean in half when I tried to put it back on the ball joint. Some real thin plastic in places.

No, he's a Samuri inspired Bludgeon. I've heard some people say he's a remold of the Iron Factory Megatron but he's not. There's definitely some similarities between the two alt modes but no actual shared parts.

Iron Factory is planning an entire line of Samurai inspired transformers and they look really cool. I highly recommend checking them out!
