    There's a Navale for sale at my local dealership. Didn't know they existed until I saw it this past weekend and rushed to find your videos. I see you're liking it a lot so far? Your tail tidy looks great!

      Thanks, the tail tidy is self made as there is none out there from a 3rd party. I have fallen in love with Moto Guzzi ever since I picked up my first a few years back. Not for everyone, but if you can put up with some of the quirks of a MG ownership experience, you are rewarded with a lot of smiles! … ;)

      @@ThatGermanFella I'm a Ducati/Ferrari man, so I'm familiar with Italian's quirks :) . Dear Lord the Navale is absolutely beautiful in person. Videos, as great as yours are, don't do it justice. And that exhaust pipe you've got makes a sublime tune.

      @@AutobahnVault the Miiv came out great, had a Mistral on there before but it was not very pleasing on the eye.

      It gets even better with time! I've had mine 3 months now and can't imagine wanting anything else. It tours, it commutes, it carves corners... the only downside so far is the heat off the cylinder heads on 30+ degree days

      @@SteveKeith no issues so far with heat but I removed the stock system which probably is helping a lot.

    You don’t like to use your active arrow

    • @ThatGermanFella

      Not in sport mode while doing local rides. I use it a lot during actual cruising / long distance travel.

      @@ThatGermanFella Is the aero effective? In the daily rider vid at lower freeway speeds, sub 70ish mph the reviewer couldn't tell if it was doing anything. For reference, 80+ is the normal cruising speed where I ride.

    • @ThatGermanFella
      @ThatGermanFella  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@geniusanthony Moto Guzzi says it spent 200 hrs in the Wind tunnel optimizing the active aero but did not give any specific speeds. What I will say is that I did a 8 hour in the saddle Talimena round trip and after I was done, I could have kept riding. I did utilize the aero and it did seem to make a difference. Its purpose is to reducing overall pressure to the rider, so it may not be immediately noticeable, but from a fatiguing point of view it seems to work well, at least for me.

      The purpose of the "aero" is to provide down force to improve traction

    • @ThatGermanFella
      @ThatGermanFella  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@johnpaulgarzaniti5065 MOTO GUZZI made no claims at all about down force, based on their statements and videos they show, its all about rider comfort and routing the air around the rider. The Wings on my M1000R do create downforce and their are specific numbers when they become effective. I will make a active aero video soon, showcasing what's going on with the V100.
