Kinda of a lame whiney video imo. I don't see how the dealers ripping people off is a mark against the car. The plastic is for people who want a usable, consumable, repairable track car. Having the power at high rep range is correct for a track car. If you want a power/torque at low rpm car get an American V8. Just seems like you don't appreciate the car for its intention. Sell it to someone who does.
Non-turbo cars tend to have low torque at low RPMs. Nothing new there -- if you want mega torque, get an EV. As far as the plastic, I agree that it's strange that Porsche would not offer those parts in carbon fiber given how much they love to rip their customers off with all sorts of silly options. It's evident you didn't want this car to use it for the track -- just to make money on it, not that there's anything wrong with that. So I get your desire to buy a very high optioned version of it; it would then allow you to command a higher price for something more exclusive and rare. It's how you play the game of buy, make videos, modify, make more videos, drive around the block, and resell.
Best car reviewer, no bias. Same applies with a Urus Performante per say a Turbo gt. Turbo GT is drenched in plastic, back of the seats, door cards, door seat controls, centre console pieces, door seals, rear air control etc. It also has no sound, look or aggression with a smoother not as aggressive gear box.
Telling someone "It's a track car", when they have a STO, AMG GT Black Series, Senna, STO, GT2RS, SVJ, 765LT, 918 and has had cars in the past like a P1, 600LT, Performante, Pista and more, is hilarious. Gotta love the internet.
Totally agree, it’s not worth the current market value, the excitement just isn’t up to par, esp in FL where it’s entirely flat and all straight. At sticker price in a bright color with access to canyon roads tho that’s a great car to keep for long
pyro red roll cage … like to do the same any advice, did you have the paint code or close match color you can recommend ? Any help would be appreciated thanks
Viable point of road legal vs track only car. It does not matter how extreme a road legal car is, it will never be able to compete with a track only car on a track. So: that's why classic GT coupés exist, which is on the road side of the {road < X > track} balance.
Some like me, some don't, most appreciate that I'm not going to pander to a brand and I will tell my truth as a real owner whose own money is on the line.
I get what you're saying but you're missing the point with the 3rs.. you wouldn't be able to appreciate what it was built for unless you're an advanced track driver, driving it on the track.... track ppl don't care about the sluggish 2-4k rpm, and prefer plastic parts that are cheaper to replace... one should not get this car unless for track...
Well for one its not a $400k car. MSRP is about 250k, which I think is way more justifiable for these somewhat ticky tacky complaints. Second, everyone knows Porsche exhausts kinda suck. It's unfortunate but true. Third, you're gay if you like carbon fiber.
If all you do is drive flat/straight florida roads and one of the main considerations when buying a car is how wealthy it makes you look, this car isn’t for you. New money is so funny lol
@@ExoticCarHacks like to do the same any advice, did you have the paint code or close match color you can recommend ? Any help would be appreciated thanks
The lack of low end on this thing makes it boring to drive 90% of the time. This thing costs the same as an Aventador or an 812, and you'd have to a retard to pick this GT3RS over either of those. Those are not only faster, but feel so much more like an occasion and are 10x the experience than this. Another spot on brutally honest video as always.
It all comes down to personal preference. Do you prefer drama or just pure driving. GT3 RS will run laps on those two the second there are corners. A friend of mine owns an 812 and a GT3 touring and he says everytime, that he would take GT3 over the 812 any day of the week, but he is a semi professional driver and the only thing that matters to him is how the car drives. And also you can only compare svj to a gt3rs because they are both a "hardcore track car", 812 is a whole different type of car.
I just found out I'm gay, I drive a Lotus Elise. I can't stop laughing. I'm a big fan of the channel and I love the car for many reasons. It is the most fun low hp car and I love no frills sports cars. As far as the GT3RS review a salesman at Porsche basically said the same thing. Sounds like an ST is the better car but I do love the looks. Must feel like a cup car for the street.
This car you can fully enjoy it on the nurburgring.... the new ST is better on the streets imo... get that one bro to compare.... more over the gt3rs value is dipping slowly.... the ST would be a great appreciating in value n enjoyment in druve😂
finally someone calls out how overpriced porshes are. they are sports cars, not in the same league as mclaren, ferrari or lambo. They are at the same level as an M3/M4, RS5 and corvette.
@@Therealtrump544 That is exactly why your comment lacks credibity. It is different thing to be a trafficlight champion, and diving speeds to close to 200 mph on ttack with serious curves. If Porsche can hold Lambos and Ferraris behind it on track, it certainly is on same level with them as track cars. People who don't know how to drive should not buy GT3RS's just to flex.

would rather have the 911 GT3 touring, dont need the trackcore stuff and just want a manual + GT3 engine

Have you ever taken the GT3 RS on track or is your opinion solely based off some bends in a business park/south Florida traffic?

Majority of these cars spend most of their time on the roads..

How does this GT3 RS car compare to a Nissan GTR Nismo including the costs which is half?
Nismo is ugly, dated and over priced, amazing engine however it use to be half the price new. Better materials shouldnt cost double
you should get a 992 Turbo S instead... my buddy has one, and it's insanely fast and a great daily driver
