Great video - love you method of testing for the issue (letting it run an hour).I've even noticed that replacing just that single small capacitor (of the two) is often enough to resolve the issue in many cases!
I can’t take the credit, my friend suggested it! And that’s interesting, I’ll try that if I come across another GameCube with the same issue.
