- (6-7-19) Here are some AWESOME high rise Dover elevators with their original buttons! This is quite the interesting office complex!

Never thought that when I found this place 3 years ago, it'd become famous for its elevators.
Anyways, some interesting notes. This complex was built to be a hospital, but closed only a couple years after opening. That is why you see the service elevators being shaped and sized the way they are. If you look carefully, there are still Keyswitches for "hospital service" in each floor's elevator lobby.
Yeah I noticed that.... this place is very strange and interesting.

I was there in 2005 but I couldn't get any elevator to leave 1st floor in any tower... everything was locked off. (Un?)interesting note... I was there to chauffeur a women's bowling team to nationals which was right next door. You can see the bldg. in your video in the bottom left @ 1:54... Riverlanes then... Andy B's now. Anyway, I'm jealous that you got to go upstairs but thanks for sharing this.

My grandpa installed those elevators when the building was built including others in the surrounding area.

May be heading to Tulsa on Sunday. I may go and ride those elevators and enjoy a view. I went there many years ago with my mom and dad when I was 8.
I just got back from St. Louis like a week ago. The Arch was awesome and the skyline was gorgeous.

I think that was technically the "service" elevator.
That's probably the tallest Dover in the world
It's really hard to tell.. I think there's some that have less floors, but are actually taller.

I also wanted to ask you why did you go from floor 57 to floor 56 to get a view of the Arkansas River and Tulsa? Is the view better on the 56th floor vs the 57th floor?

I believe the whole floor was occupied on 57 so we couldn’t access the window.

I went to the 56th floor and 57th floor. The 57th floor was closed off as you said. Me and my brother went to the 56th floor and those views were incredible. I estimated the height to be somewhere around 550-580 feet high.

I don't think it's the tallest, but it is certainly epic.
If you go to 55 you will go to KXOJ FM.
@Matt Bruns They're actually up on the 57th floor. I thought it was floor 55 judging by the directory in the lobby but a security officer ended up pointing out to me that it's up on floor 57. I ended up winning a $50 gift card to Nothing Bundt Cakes a few months ago.

@@stlelevators I went up there to the 56th and 57th floor yesterday. I don't technically think you are supposed to go up there but I don't think it is a really big deal.

@@stlelevators I wouldn't think very much has changed. Your vid looks like the one I recorded yesterday. I also pushed the buttons for 58, 59, and 60 and they wouldn't work for me either.
@@cubby091398 I suppose as a bit of an update the 57th floor is now occupied by a local radio station. I went there and filmed not too long ago.

@@stlelevators 60 Floor Dovers. Dovers are usually Hydros or Rough/Grotty Parking Elevators. The Indicator doesn't even have a direction arrow. As someone who's claustrophobic when alone in elevators, I would've found them creepy.
