2025 Husqvarna FS 450 Supermoto Significant technical updates

Significant technical updates for 2025 ensure the FS 450 easily maintains its position as the leading purpose-built Supermoto machine on the market. The modern machine is powered by a versatile SOHC engine that creates a broad spread of controllable power, which can then be customised by engaging various electronic rider aids including launch control, traction control, and a choice of two engine maps. A revised frame and new engine mounts combine to deliver a calculated level of chassis flex for improved handling with high-speed stability assured. WP XACT forks are fitted to this competition-focused motorcycle for the first time to boost comfort and agility while the new footrests, linkage seals, air intake, radiator shrouds, and a revised swingarm ensure the riding experience of the FS 450 is taken to an even higher level for 2025.

The FS 450 engine is engineered for peak performance, benefiting from cutting-edge design techniques.
Cylinder head.
The SOHC cylinder head is incredibly compact with the camshaft positioned as close to the centre of gravity as possible to aid handling and agility.
Cylinder & piston
The lightweight aluminium cylinder is undoubtedly an engineering masterpiece and features a 95 mm bore with a 63.4 mm stroke.
The FS 450 features a Suter anti-hopping clutch to prevent rear wheel instability and hopping when braking hard.
Lightweight frame
The geometry of the proven chromium molybdenum steel frame is retained for 2025 while subtle revisions to its construction further enhance the riding experience.
Polyamide-reinforced aluminium subframe
Made from 60% polyamide and 40% aluminium, the two-piece subframe ensures exceptional strength and durability.

For the first time ever, the FS 450 is equipped with 48 mm WP XACT Closed Cartridge forks.
ProTaper handlebar
Developed between Husqvarna Motorcycles and leading handlebar manufacturer ProTaper,
ODI lock-on grips feature an innovative, integrated throttle mechanism and a glue-free installation.
Fuel tank
The 7.2 litre fuel tank integrates neatly into the ergonomic bodywork.

Wheels and tyres
Black 16.5' inch and 17 inch Alpina spoked wheels on the front and rear respectively are lightweight and strong. Metzeler Racetec SM K1 125/75 R420 and 165/55 R420 slick tyres
Exhaust system
The exhaust system on the FS 450 features a flow-designed resonance chamber, which plays a vital role in delivering class-leading performance.
