Human Activities Cause Declining Biodiversity: Solutions to Protect Our Ecosystems (By Sufi Momin)

This award-winning short film by Sufi Momin discusses the negative impacts of climate change, and how human activity is a significant cause of declining biodiversity, which is disrupting our healthy ecosystems. It also provides solutions on how humans can better conserve our planet.
This film is the official winner of the 2023 One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest, a global film festival with over 400 international participants. The jury panel consisted of subject matter experts in the field of climate change and stated that this film is, “an astonishing film, well researched, not overly complicated and compels viewers of any age to adopt change in their day-to-day behavior.
"Human Activities Cause Declining Biodiversity: Solutions to Protect Our Ecosystems" was also selected as the "Middle School Best Film - Runner Up" for the 2024 Climate Changemaker Teen Film Festival - an international film festival that features over 300 climate change-related short films made by teen filmmakers from around the world. This film was one of 15 films selected by the jury.
