She's playing the same person every time. And I dont think its an act. Thats why Lovitz made that joke at the start.
I love Victoria, I wish they would upload more Victoria and more Lovitz! I saw a clip of him with his adopted dog on a late show and he still looks just like himself, just older. I could watch SNL, every episode, fully through, all damn day & I'd even suffer through commercials just to watch every moment again. The memories!

Both are smart enough to do a skit without staring at cue cards, unlike everyone on SNL these days.
Right, I’ve noticed that. It seems when I was a kid, you couldn’t tell there were cue cards in front of them. Now you can straight up see the actors eyes move across the lines smh
Never seen any post 2000 SNL skits where anyone looks at cue cards, that seems to be only in the older ones.
The show peaked with Hader/Wiig/McKinnon/Thompson etc, none of the older ones even come close.
That’s not entirely the fault of the actors. They often revise lines after dress rehearsal, and it doesn’t give them time to learn them. I’m guessing this practice has become more prevalent in recent years.
I don't think Victoria was acting in this.

That would be the set decor department, or some such name. Here’s a way to remember: consider a scene in a tailor shop. If a suit is hanging in the background, it’s decor. If an actor is carrying it, it’s a prop. If he wears it, it’s wardrobe. If it catches fire, it’s special effects.
Classic.... and the Woody Allen bit was solid gold back then, as well as today.

Woody was the dumber one in regard to the two-part question, because he'd just heard Victoria's comment on the electric train's lack of smoke, yet he still got that part wrong.
I am confused anyway because an electric smoke can have a train with it just think about a vape

OK - I know this is older than shit, but I just saw it today. Here's an interesting tidbit of information. Because I am a nerd and I find this kind of useless information fascinating. "Electric trains" are indeed propelled by electric motors. But they DON'T run on batteries. Stand close enough to a modern locomotive and you will hear an engine running. This is because there is a Diesel engine in there that powers a generator that produces the electric current that turns the wheels. Because a Diesel is an internal combustion engine, there will be exhaust, which is composed of carbon (in the form of soot), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), oxygen, water vapor (steam), ammonia, nitrogen, and oxides of nitrogen (nitrogen oxide, nitrogen dioxide, etc.) that some might call smoke.
Victoria was so hot back then.
And she's so insufferably racist and trumpist now.

Just this year, we have had several TH-cam videos showing young Americans who can't answer general knowledge questions such as when the War of 1812 took place. Competition for "Dumb and Dumber" is becoming keen.

I prefer the original cast of the 1970s, as well as the cast with John Luvitz, Victoria Jackson, etc. Those 2 cast groups were the funniest on SNL. Dana Carvey was hilarious as the church lady, too. I haven't watched SNL since 1991.
If you haven't watched SNL since 1991, you are in no position to judge any cast, unless it was prior to 1992.
Then you've never seen any of their best skits.
Keenan thompson, Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, and Kate McKinnon are by far the best era of SNL.

I'd like to know who wrote this sketch and how they pitched it to Victoria LOL. I mean Woody clearly played a character on Cheers of the same name. But Victoria wasn't playing a character on SNL, that's why Jon asked her. So it's really like the writers were trolling her. Unless she wrote/pitched the sketch herself, which is possible.

Who's Dumber? If you really want to sell it, you need to giggle more. And stare vacantly. Say "I don't know?", (Upward intonation at the end, like you're totes asking a question? DO I know? Or greater emphasis on the word 'know', like, you're just outraged that anyone would bother you with questions?), and giggle a lot about it like it's the funniest thing ever that anyone would think that you do know stuff. And junk. You'd be amazed at the free drinks-and propositions-that you'll get. Ms. Jackson is just too serious here! What, she's some kind of Brain Scientist or something?!
