That's a tough call. I've stayed at both once (and the hotel side in 2007.) At the villas I had a beautiful 4th floor room with a perfect view of the monorail. The resort studio interior is more upscale and high design, but I had a ground floor room next to the elevator. My patio viewed the building entrance and the back of the pool bar. The luggage golf cart was parked right on front of me. Looking right, I had a decent view of Bay Lake and the Contemporary, but even that view was blocked by two cherry pickers. I'll stay in both again for more data, but I think I'll ultimately be team villas!
i never stayed at any disney world resort but looking into resorts and this looks great for my sis her hubby and the kids who are 6 and 3 1/2 two girls
The poly has two bathrooms as well. One has the tub, toilet and sink vanity and the other has a shower and sink vanity. They aren’t connected with a pocket door though. Love the second bathroom.
I love both the villas and the resort studios. GF and Riviera are my two favorites. These are the most upscale resorts and yes, they are the only two that have the split bathroom.
I just booked a standard studio at grand Floridian for myself and my daughter the end of June. Of course I went to your channel to get a room tour… baby Ellie 😢 Time is such a thief!
Such a nice room and that view is actually super nice! Ellie Rose was such a hoot, and I can only imagine how many more times she played peekaboo during your stay! 😂
I think the Resort studios are nicer but having a split bathroom is very nice too! If you are on the top floor of the resort studio building you can potentially get a room that has the dormers and the ceilings are very high. Makes the room very luxurious! Also the view of the main building and the room is my fave and you can still see fireworks from the top floor without even having a lake view :) Resort studios win!
Yes ☺️ This is DVC. They do offer in room dining if that’s what you mean by room service 👍🏼 Housekeeping comes on the 4th day, with trash service each day.
@@BekahHart You guys must travel with a lot of luggage! I'm a "When in Rome" type. Even if I don't like something too much, I want what's on offer in the place I'm at. I prefer French and Italian wines to New World wines, but I still order South African wine at AKV. Disney is about Joffrey's. Personally, I love it, but I'm not a huge coffee person.
Can we get a husband video, even a short, for the coffee packing bag? I think I need to do the same for the next trip. Joffreys just didn't sit well with my palate.
I think I still actually prefer the deluxe studio over the resort studio. The bathroom wins hands down over the resort studio, and with the new murphy bed that is a huge improvement over an aging sofa bed. I still dont know why they made such a cramped closet for the toilet and simple bathtub shower combo.
That room was a beaut! Ellie hiding under the bed was hilarious😂 Don't the dvc studios at the Poly have two bathrooms? Not sure if they're split, but it would work for me! Are you planning another trip yet?
Yes! I remembered later that Poly has two bathrooms, so very similar to the split bathrooms at grand and riviera 👌🏼 And yes, I do have my net trip in the works 😉
What are your thoughts on the deluxe studios? 😍 Do you prefer these or the resort studios?

Andy should do a packing video for his coffee bag😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He totally should 😂
I want to see the coffee collection in the duffel lol
Staying there for my 40th in May. Can’t wait!!!
So exciting! You’re going to love it! 😍
Love watching your video Bekah! So helpful for planning our next trip
I’m so glad! Thanks Nicole! ☺️

Yes! I love that the Poly has that separate bathroom 🙌🏼
Love the video! And Happy New Year!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you! ❤️🥳

Riviera is on my favorite resort list as well. Both are beautiful!!
Doesn’t poly have split bathroom?
@@idaUnchained I think you’re right, but it’s a slightly different type of bathroom.

Here for this! Also congrats on 10k!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you! 🥳🥳🥳
Such a great room I wish allhotels were set up that way you have every thing
Yes! This room was amazing 🙌🏼
Such a nice room and that view is actually super nice! Ellie Rose was such a hoot, and I can only imagine how many more times she played peekaboo during your stay! 😂
We ended up loving the view! And oh my word… Ellie was cracking us up 😅

The resort studios look amazing! 🤩 Both studio types definitely their pros 👌🏼
love the room, so this is a DVC villa? did the resort offer room service to your room?
Yes ☺️ This is DVC. They do offer in room dining if that’s what you mean by room service 👍🏼 Housekeeping comes on the 4th day, with trash service each day.
Nice, Polynesian has it too
Yes! Grand and Riviera are the ones with the split bathroom feature, and Poly has 2 separate bathrooms ☺️ So nice 🙌🏼
That duffle bag for Andy's coffee! Love it. What does he bring for his coffee? I'd do the same thing. Haha!!
He pretty much brings everything to make his own pour over (grinder, scale, kettle, beans, ect.) 😅
@@BekahHart Im not that intense but do bring my own k cups. Not a joffreys fan

I’ll have to make sure Andy shares what he brings in a vlog on our next trip together! 😅

Agreed! The deluxe studios are a much better fit for our family 🙌🏼
