Bruh if ur gonna play smash bros with it it’s just gonna do taunts with the d pad and you can only do Attack with the A button and only neutral smash with the B button and you can’t even shield or grab unless if ur playing with one nes controller and it won’t really work with any other games it’s just gonna do it’s assigned buttons like for example if ur playing minecraft then u press the up d pad then you’ll change ur perspective into 3rd person back and into 3rd person front
Finally some competition, Nyxi has a good mold but they need better plastic because it feels like cheap Tupperware

I’m not a huge fan of removable sticks. But I do appreciate the option to replace. Other than that, the plus and minus buttons look a bit too recessed into the controller.
I got a question, what's the effective range of these joycons? I have the normal Binbok joycons and I love them, but their range is so small that they don't even work if they're farther than 2 feet from the switch. For comparison, I'm able to use the OEM Switch Pro controller from across my 10 ft room and still have perfect connection. I'd DEFINITELY get these if they have a similar range to the pro controller
Just checked them out on the site, already they look better than all the other options imo
than the only other option*. I do not consider those other like... GameCube colour, small right analog stick, but the facebuttons are regular JoyCon facebuttons controllers to be an option as a GameCube JoyCon. I hope that more options come!
The octagonal guards make this a pass for me. It would have been cool had they gone with a method similar to the Wizard controller.

Nyxi went the wrong way with small gates, and raised gates. A flush replaceable changeable gate would be fine. Narrow, proper OEM options. Appease everyone.

I ordered mine off of Amazon Saturday and I got them today.
I'm glad they at least got the sticks texture correctly unlike nyxi
so fun fact, shank mods provided some insight and guidence for doyoky for these joycon

Can’t use them to play smash competitively because of the turbo feature … sorry bro
In this day and age, and for this price, the lack of hall effect sensors is a deal breaker.
Really frustrating because the NYXI has hall effect joysticks yet everything else feels cheap while this one seems to have that fixed...but uses the old joystick mechanism.
If this was priced at 30-40$, I'd say "screw it" and buy it, but at 60-70$ (both this one and the NYXI) you're just trading off one flaw with another.
And this is coming from someone who has replacement switches and soldering equipment readily available for a repair.
They're pricing third-party controllers as if they're first-party ones just because they're for the Nintendo Switch.

The joycons kind of have the back buttons but you have to play with the weird shoulder buttons that are not proper I don't know

These aren't Nyxi, they're from Doyoky
Nyxi feels cheap
This are doyokyo looks more cuality but the joycon are Alps the same on the ps5, which are known for drifting sometimes
I wouldn’t recommend them my Binbok(Doyoky same thing) controllers broke not even a month in since they would stop connecting to my switch in handheld mode. It would be a better option to invest in some grip holder instead for your joycons. ~$70 down the drain
how have you found the rumble is it stronger on the left controller from the right ? This is what ive heard from another youtuber . Hoping hes one was perhaps faulty

They look dope, but the joystick use Alps joysticks, it's ok but it's known for drift on ps5 etc, maybe I'll give it a shot on a next model or so

Do you know if these joycons would fit in a skullnco maxcarry case, or any other case for that matter?
They definitely should have copied the OEM GC right / left triggers. They were quite satisfying to press.
One of, if not the worst shipping experiences I've ever seen. I do not recommend purchasing simply for the hassle of this terrible service.

I'm 95% sure ya can... But why would you? Just seems inconvenient imo... And runs the risk of that whole mispress problem like the regular joy-cons have... So annoying. Something I noticed. But if ya want, you can try...
Games like pokemon so i can quickly mount/dismount and other rpg games so i can open menu/map @@gamedestroyer112
I know its such a frivolous thing but that black colored middle section bugs me! Lol ! Im genuinely annoyed by it! Why didnt they make it the same color as the joycons?

Probably, it just doesn’t have analog triggers like a real gamecube controller cause the switch doesn’t have analog triggers
Yes! You can just sync them up to your computer no problem, even phone I am sure.
