Bro comparing valorant skins to cs is like comparing two comics with different universes. Its good in its respective game. To a val player the cs skins look dull until u start to understand more about the system. And for cs the val skins look too flamboyant and distracting because they arent used to the theme of the game because comparing it to cs is like oil and water. The skins are good in their respective games but the cs skin system is superior.

I think both are fantastic for different reasons and are hard to compare directly.
I enjoy valorant if i want a tac shooter that is more based on abilities and comboing abilities with teammates.
Where as csgo is for when i want a more grounded shooter experience and team play

Just because the game is focused on character abilities, that doesn't mean the gunplay should take a backseat, especially not when it's a fucking shooter. Valorant's randomized spray patterns and recoil reset are legit negative points of the game

as a person who have enjoys both game , both game have their own thing , i really wish that people who play csgo will stop shitting on valorant player and vice versa
I like both games as a casual player. However as a casual player i find myself significantly more stressed playing valorant than cs. I will say however that i find the abilities to be fun when used creatively, the issue is that no one uses them creatively. You can pull some wacky stuff with them but most people have the same set ups and usage every round.
as someone who used to be a diehard csgo fan, i enjoy valorant more. the skins, the gameplay, and the community. the community is only bad on NA west btw :/
Fr, NA lobbies from what i've seen is e-date and toxicity. Asia lobbies are really fucking chill and really fun. Though that can also be said for csgo

I have 1400hours on csgo and around 500 on valorant, And csgo is just a better and harder game over all. Holding an angle just to be smoked across the map with a point and click and someone throwing you a flash THROUG a wall that lasts 2 seconds and the guy that used the flash can peek you while the flash is still up Is at least irritating. And the same that happens in league of legends is happening at valorant, Every new agent is more overloaded that the last one. Beta agent: Flash, heal, wall New agent: flash stun slow another stun molotov and you can pick the habilities from the ground to use them again in the same round, even the ULTIMATE

i was a siege player with 1,000 hours on console and 100 hours on pc, i played valorant when it first released (2020) and i cant tell u how much if a dookie that game was i used to love the game and got alpt of skins too many…skins now i’ve come back to siege bc all the skins i got are FREE, ik siege has bp’s and shit but earning a good skin by grinding, is way more REWARDING than paying 30 AUD on some vandal skin gg

As a valorant player who started csgo I can say that personal preference is valorant but I also like csgo. Honestly I play both for the fun as well as TF2. Very casual shooter player speaking where I like valorant gameplay with abilites which allow for more stuff, but likes csgo skins and its engagement more and also TF2 for that funny moments when ur a spy just backstabbing.

With the skin shop on Valorant, my buddy was looking for a specific skin that he really wanted and this wqs back when there werent this many skins. Took him like 3 MONTHS for that skin to show up. Meanwhile the same trash skins would cycle 5 or more times.
The only thing i play valorent because its knife is 5 times cheaper than in Csgo, and thats the only reason. But cs knife has it value that you can sell it later if the price is going up

I personally think just "Objectively" speaking (well, as objectively as it gets i guess) that CS is the better game.
I play both and gunplay just feels so much better in CS. But Abilities are extremely fun. His points were literally "I dont use my abilities creatively" and "Look at this one moment in a pro tournament" to say that they werent good. If you watch any actually tournaments, abilities create some of the coolest and funniest moments in the game.
If I want to feel good about my aim and shoot heads, I play CS.
If I want to have some goofy fun and feel like I have above room temperature IQ (lie) I play Valorant.
Both games are completely different the only similarities is the controls and gun play 😂

As someone who just tried valorant and has been playing cs for 600 hours i tried valorant. Holy shit it was boring. The movement felt janky, and my teammates were yapping in french (equivalent to the russians in cs) your movement is so slow the amount of abilities is insane and a bit more.

I really wish that Valorant has something that makes the skin unique, CSGO skins has patterns, floats, you can apply stickers, and you can even name your weapon. In Valorant, everyone can have the same skin and same buddies, you can't really show other people that your skin is unique. Even with all the cool animations Valorant skins have, they're still pretty boring.
I don't think stickers make it unique. To make it unique it would need a color no one else or very few other people have, or a custom model, or custom animations. I don't really know how floats or patterns work tho

A valorant player never cry about cs:go having the trading system for their skins but when it comes to cs:go players they seem to be pretty pissed about valorant gun skins and then they start talking about "oh yeah we can earn real money out of it" lets just face it, at the end of the day everyone plays a game just to enjoy and be in different environment cs and val comparison is pointless to be honest they just do these videos for views. i mean just look at this guy turning his opinion from positive to negative about valorant in the very next video

The Awp is a "crutch" for worse aim in the same way but its still apart of the game and culture. Deep down these games and most fps at its fundamental core are an aim duel. You can often win even with a disadvantageous position if your a high level aimer this is no different in Val (obviously big brain plays do exist aswell). Like others have said nades in CS are basically just a universal "ability" which you could argue is a "crutch". And clearly the game is better for rewarding having a brain aswell despite me sometimes wishing I could force my aim on everyone.

My personal opinion as a Valorant player is that the games are 100% opinion reliant, the reason i play Valorant instead of CS:GO is because i just find Valorant more enjoyable and cool to play, the abilities make the matches so much less repetitive, the skins have a way better feel in Valorant because of the sounds, animations and all that, and i just think that the crappy 1990's Aahh look of CS:GO just makes the game feel like i'm shoving my hands in dogshit when i'm playing it
Do take notes of that this is my opinion, not the truth about which game is better, and as i said, it all comes down to opinions, certain factors can be declared better in either of the games, but those declarations are also extremely opinion reliant, so for gods sake, play the game you enjoy playing, playing a game you don't like will only hold you back from enjoying and/or getting good at the game

There’s nothing special about the most sought after skins besides that and a lot of the time they’re basic asf if you were to put them in any other game.

Randomized recoil and slow recoil reset make the FPS aspect of valorant unejoyable for a lot of people, I guess it was intended just so actual bullets don't overshadow abilities and such.
Still, it's too hard to compare both CS:GO and Valorant's gameplay beacuse as similar as they look, they are waaay too different to call one better than the other.
