You’re lucky they haven’t found you yet, suddenly you hear nothing but the music and the rain. All the screams stop and you open your eyes. You don’t even need to look out the window to know everyone but you is dead. This breaks your heart as you start to cry. After the music stops you hear a big pop, kinda like an explosion or a gunfire. This scares you even more as you sit there for a moment. “Oh my god…” you finally say as it all fades to white. You can’t wait to see them again One sunny day

i’m thinking something along the lines of “mass extinction-causing comets”. and the last big shock is the largest comet. the one then ends up wiping out all of humanity. end everyone is shouting to get on a bus or plane to a high quality bomb shelter. almost like the movie “greenland” except instead of everyone surviving, it ends up being the downfall of the planet and nothing/no one survives.
