Is your household feeling more like a walk through Jurrasic Park than a family home? You know what I mean, stuff everywhere, rising voices, chaos, stress ...
Yeah, don't worry, I have had those moments (read: weeks and months) like that too.
I've had school bags and clothes all over the floor, socks without partners (I mean how can every sock not have a friend!?), clothes on the bedroom floor and rising anxiety in myself as I scream "Where are the keys!? We need to get out the door!"
Actually, come to think of it, it has not just been my house that is like a walk through Jurrasic Park, but also the way I have responded is like a dinosaur roaring through our home 🙈🤦🏽‍♀️
And no matter how many times you tell yourself, I am not going to be a 'yell-y' mum, you find yourself frustrated and right back there.
Well, I am no dino trainer, but I do like to think of myself as a mum hacker extraordinaire.
Chaos in the family home is a very real thing, that many of us experience. Although it is common, we don't have to accept it as normal.
