      i using magnet method or scratch build new joint to avoid using superglue for future easier fix or touchup

    Sweet! Just wondering how you pinned the feet. It came with different sets of feet but I am having a hard time with the one you used.

    • @GundamStore
      @GundamStore  ปีที่แล้ว

      im using the first batch limited released, if not mistaken the feet from MS Build design, as for pinned feet, i just use the ol' copper rod trick for resin conversion of joining the parts,

    • @gabegabe1980
      @gabegabe1980 ปีที่แล้ว

      As of now, I’m having a hard time visualizing where to pin it. I’ll keep moving it around. Thanks

    • @gabegabe1980
      @gabegabe1980 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you still able to move the heel independently from the front part of the foot after pinning it or is it permanent except for the ankle ball joint ?

    • @GundamStore
      @GundamStore  ปีที่แล้ว

      its definitely become permanent, the ankle is the only mobility for the feet

    How did you make the base? Good job on this project!🎉

    • @GundamStore
      @GundamStore  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thanks, the base is made using later cutting machine on acrylic sheet

    Man I regret missing out on this kit. I find this design is a good balance of canon and extravagant design. While the YJL and recent Fortune Meow's designs are cool, they are just too over the top for my taste. Great build! Know anyone locally who has this in their stash willing to let it go? :D

    • @GundamStore
      @GundamStore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally agree! , But its hard to find this on after market currently, few people also asking me to purchase this conversion kit when I was currently doing it

  • @mattinghas4124
    @mattinghas4124 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Does this come as a separate kit that goes ON thr nu gundam kit ?

    • @GundamStore
      @GundamStore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      its a resin conversion kit, which stands separately sold that you have to find

    So you can panel line before priming and painting??

    • @GundamStore
      @GundamStore  ปีที่แล้ว

      as error checking, details of resin need to retraced since some resin cast molds are imperfect, panel line function as to detect any error on the details

    • @matthewgonzalez3567
      @matthewgonzalez3567 ปีที่แล้ว

      @GundamStore thanks for the response and knowledge. I'll start doing that trick!

    Is it tough for you guys?

    • @GundamStore
      @GundamStore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      its definitely challenging than normal bandai kit, as resin cast is man made

  • @hoalanho

    Why did you panel line unprimed resin and then completely paint over it? Unnecessary step and a waste of panel liner paint.

    • @GundamStore
      @GundamStore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      resin cast its not factory made, mind you. it was man made, hence some cases got uneven details and so on, not to mention warped cast, bended cast, uncaptured details during casting, since I'm quite particular about those details uneven, so i resanded all the resin surface, and retracing all the details, and the panel lining was used to check for errors for the details. This step also necessary for those who made custom panel lining on gunpla, you need to panel line it first to check if your custom panel lining has errors/scratches and what not
