Здравствуйте. А не могли бы Вы сделать подробную инструкцию по созданию такого руля. На форму перечитал все, но для далеких людей слегка тяжело. С одной стороны все понятно, а с другой боишься не те компоненты купить. Спасибо.
all use a standard 6.5-inch motor. But I will fit others. Nowadays there are a lot of used boards. I don't know how the situation is where you live, but in my city you can buy a working hoverboard cheaper than 25 dollars. And such a board contains as many as two motors:)
I do not know how it was in the original, but I saw that other people have it attached with a piece of the original fastener from the body of the hoverboard
I tried magnetic pulse encoder, it skips steps. I switched to optical encoder, now it's precise to the single step even if I turn it fast. In my experience optical encoders > magnetic pulse encoders. Good luck with your projects!
@@linus1643 I used rubber bushing on encoder axle to rub against the motor. It doesn't sound safe but it did well even after playing hours without slipping or losing precision. Lately, I ditched the encoder and used the hall sensors of the motor itself. It has much less increments (90 to be exact), but applying interpolation between increments made it feel smooth and it's quite playable.

Do you use an Arduino Leonardo or are there better alternatives? Another question i have is what software to use. Do you use an existing one or programmed it yourself? Last but not least, how do you mount the motor and all the other components? Is wood a good solution or are there better alternatives you’ve found? Thanks in advance for your time!

Unfortunately, as I understand it, the author will not make a complete assembly instruction. Everything is on the forum by the link in the description. Maybe a little later I will get the necessary parts and be able to record an assembly video for beginners like me and you.
Oh this one is really really good compared to all the others I've seen great job really mice small size and has tons of detail as we can see lol
