Many millions families disturbed and divided. The humanity is all under destructions, so the population of EU is drastically decreasing due to all destruction for many centuries. This is a strategy he has been using for 2 decades trying to take over countries that have any amount of Russian speaking population. If you have a hard time sympathizing with the plight of Ukrainians and the injust nature of this war, perhaps you can sympathize with the Chechen people and the two wars that the Russian government waged on them. A small peaceful Muslim country that u have ed to be part of the USSR was brutally invaded and some of the pretexts where the same. If you read up on the Chechen War, perhaps you will understand the nature of the war in Ukraine a bit more. You also will not find any Crimean Tatars, the ethnic Muslim population of the Crimean Peninsula, who would support Putin the psychopath. They suffered too much persecution under the Soviet and Russian rule.

I enjoyed your Khotbah about the war in Ukraine and I agree with all the mentioned points. Just one addition is the issue of pollution and global warming. Our planet cannot afford wars like that. All wars are backfiring on us now. It doesn’t matter who wins the war, we all lose at the end. I also would like to mention few examples of double standards: 1. Bosnia versus Kuwait. Almost at the same time, both countries were invaded. In 1991, both countries dialed 911. In the case of Bosnia, the international community left the Bosnian to be slaughtered and imposed an embargo on giving them weapons while Serbia has the fourth strongest army in the world at that time. But in the case of Kuwait, the international community jumped on Sadam to “save” Kuwait. Not to mention that Sadam was deceived by the American ambassador giving him the green light to invade Kuwait. It was not until Al-Qaeda started fighting to defend the Bosnian people that the international community interfered to stop the massacre because they did not want Al-Qaeda to flourish in Europe. 2. 1991 Haitian military coup versus Algerian military coup. Both countries had a military coup after democratic elections. The U.S. saved Haiti but no one did anything to Algeria. On the contrary, Algerian military coup was supported. 😊I have a joke related to the subject. People found that all countries in the world have problems except the U.S. when they researched the cause, they found that the U.S. is the only country in the world that has no American Embassy 😊

A small peaceful Muslim country that u have ed to be part of the USSR was brutally invaded and some of the pretexts where the same. If you read up on the Chechen War, perhaps you will understand the nature of the war in Ukraine a bit more.
You also will not find any Crimean Tatars, the ethnic Muslim population of the Crimean Peninsula, who would support Putin the psychopath. They suffered too much persecution under the Soviet and Russian rule.

I commend Dr Yasir Qadhi for speaking so eloquently and truthfully on a subject i.e. the 'Double standards' of the so called 'Civilized World' at this point in time...when the Muslim Ummah seem to be floundering on current events pertaining to our Deen! One of the most enlightening addresses I have ever heard. The courage, command over english language and clarity of expression this speaker exhibits is a gift for any audience to listen to, ponder about and benefit from; muslims or non muslims. I wish the Ummah could produce many more such top scholars. If you are a white non muslim from West you may apparently deny but in the heart of your heart you will agree to every word of of this speech. There can not be a greater truth than this highlighting double standards of a hypocritic world we are living in.

I enjoyed your Khotbah about the war in Ukraine and I agree with all the mentioned points. Just one addition is the issue of pollution and global warming. Our planet cannot afford wars like that. All wars are backfiring on us now. It doesn’t matter who wins the war, we all lose at the end.
I also would like to mention few examples of double standards:
1. Bosnia versus Kuwait. Almost at the same time, both countries were invaded. In 1991, both countries dialed 911. In the case of Bosnia, the international community left the Bosnian to be slaughtered and imposed an embargo on giving them weapons while Serbia has the fourth strongest army in the world at that time. But in the case of Kuwait, the international community jumped on Sadam to “save” Kuwait. Not to mention that Sadam was deceived by the American ambassador giving him the green light to invade Kuwait. It was not until Al-Qaeda started fighting to defend the Bosnian people that the international community interfered to stop the massacre because they did not want Al-Qaeda to flourish in Europe.
2. 1991 Haitian military coup versus Algerian military coup. Both countries had a military coup after democratic elections. The U.S. saved Haiti but no one did anything to Algeria. On the contrary, Algerian military coup was supported.
😊I have a joke related to the subject. People found that all countries in the world have problems except the U.S. when they researched the cause, they found that the U.S. is the only country in the world that has no American Embassy 😊
