Happy near years Andy and Yuki! I came across this channel after I didn’t understand a lesson in genki 1 and turns out you made a video about it saying you didn’t like how genki did the chapter! I subscribed and have been using your videos ever since. I recommend your channel to every struggling Japanese learner I come across online, and even in tik tok comments as well. I wouldn’t be where I am now in my Japanese learning journey without you. It is evident how hard you work in your videos, color coding and answering questions, giving us all these videos for FREE at the same time. If I had money I would join your patreon, but the least I can do now is promote this channel when there is an opportunity. Seriously, I couldn’t thank you guys enough. I wish you guys the best next year and I hope Tokini Andy only grows more successful from here on!
Andy, I don't know if you read comments on your older videos that much, but I've been devouring your channel for the last two days after finding out about you on reddit. For somebody who felt really overwhelmed about the prospect of picking up a new language at 30 for my own personal development/enrichment, you and Yuki make the whole thing seem a bit less daunting, and I'm excited to get started with your content!
8 years ago I passed N3. I haven't taken a JLPT test since then, but I've been speaking Japanese every day since. At least N2, but I'll probably try and take N1 in December just to check. ☺️
@@ToKiniAndy wow that’s pretty good! I get now why it’s fast to advance from n5 to n3 but after that it takes years. I just started tobira and it’s pretty tedious.
