From an old rebuilder down in Ohio, where all of the good rebuilding tools seem to come from. They were manufactured many years ago by a company called Norton Equipment Corporation, Blissfield, Michigan that is still in business.
I really like your videos. I'm currently a maintenance tech at a machine shop, but business isn't doing very well. Probably going to have to take a different job. It's sad to see a US manufacturing company struggle competing with foreign manufacturers.
I know what you mean, as I have worked for a US company that folded for the same reason. It's even sadder to see American companies sending work to Mexico and China. I feel for ya brother. I love what I do today, so I don't call it a job. Thanks for the comment!
I love what I do as well and the people I work with. I've seen so many talented people retire the last couple years. Leaving a void that's too hard to fill. People just don't have the experience or work ethic to get things done properly anymore.
Thank you for taking the time to film this short segment, have a great week, stay warm. Charles
Nice Job! Glad to see you out scraping again! All the best. Chuck
You need to stop by. I was thinking about you. I have way too many projects for you to choose from. 😁
Are you still in gross Ile? Let's get together when you have time. I just ground a scraper for you as a parting gift, lol.
You make the scraping look so easy
Thanks! It's hard on an old guy, lol.
Damn, I wish I had those V profile camelbacks when I was doing my grinder! Nice scraping lesson, thanks!
Good to see you Josh. Thanks for the comment!
Nice work! Thanks for sharing this info!
Nicely done Daryl.
Thanks for sharing. Kimber
Thanks Kimber. Good to see you back doing videos.
@@OtherBrotherDarylSmith likewise to you.
Please keep my family in your prayers.

@@kimber1958 Will do brother.
Love the V style set of straight edges. First time seeing such a thing.
Same here. Great pieces for rebuilding surface grinders.
Those V & inverted V straight edges are sweet! Where did you acquire those if you don't mind.

Great video Daryl, thanks for sharing! Are the vee and inverted vee camelbacks long enough to spot a 12 x 24 surface grinder table?
@CameronMcDonald-ll7ss Possibly. You can stop by and get them anytime, brother. I hope all is well in your world Cam.
