I today's market in this condition 15 x 50 $10-14k I do have a 17 x60 Colchester same model coming in ,within the next few weeks Will have a price after I get it refurbished.
I used one of these as a student, it was made in the early 1970s. There were thousands of them used in mechanical schools and engineering colleges throughout Australia. As a result Colchester has become the standard by which I judge all lathes. My own machine in my workshop is a smaller Southbend clone, and I find my muscle memory still finds me reaching out for the Colchester controls whenever I get careless in my workshop behaviour. Fond memories of bygone days. Stavros
