    Thank you for this! I start my job as a new grad nurse tomorrow night. I needed to hear this just in case I miss out any information because I feel like I might due to nerves.

    I’d say too, if patients are supposed to be in diet restrictions like NPO, low salt, etc. and client’s family sneak in food items for their loved ones. CNAs are the eyes and ears and can report to the nurse what they’ve witnessed lol.

      I'm a CNA. One day I had to unexpectedly leave early due to an injury from a patient. All the nurses I worked with started freaking out wondering how they would get anything done.
